“Smooth transition

Pros

The transition to Cetec ERP was smooth. And it is easy to use and track everything.

Cons

There are few features I wish it included like for instance, when running invoice reports, I can't pull the part number and quantity listed. Also I feel like there are features that we are not aware of that could make it even more simple and easy of use.

“Training videos are very helpful

Pros

All the features are simple to use and the how-to videos help me learn the Cetec applications quickly.

Cons

I noticed some purchasing features are missing mainly in entering purchase orders and invoicing options for partial orders.

“Everything connects perfectly!!!!

Pros

I really like how everything links together. Plus I also liked the traceability feature. Moreover I like that each item has a document tab for uploads which makes it easier to stay organized and access information.

Cons

At times the calculations seem off when using landed cost. For example, when receiving an item, the cost may break down to something like $0.0000001 per unit but with landed cost, it only rounds to $0.01. This is something that disturb the numbers a lot when a purchase order is received.

Well the software is user-friendly and the best part is that I have had a good relationship with the developers.

Cons

Cetec ERP system is still new and developing since it was recently launched. So I cannot say much about cons for now.

“Received great support from the support team

Pros

Cetec is very user friendly which makes it easy for us to train new users. We use it for quoting, inventory management, invoicing and vendor payments. Also it serves our needs from start to finish. Since we started using it at the end of 2015, I have found no reason to switch to another system.

Cons

The only problem is that sometimes, after an update, minor glitches occur but they are resolved quickly. None of these issues prevent us from working throughout the day.

“The customer support team is professional and helpful

Pros

There is an amazing amount of data available. I can simply click to retrieve relevant information sorted by date range, customer or order. This feature is great for customer service and management can customize a dashboard for a daily business overview. Support staff is always quick in responding. We can define user roles based on function and authorization, which has streamlined our entire order process and boosted our efficiency.

Cons

As a distribution company, we are still learning and adapting the software to meet our needs, but I am confident we will get there.

Pros

Cetec flexibility in user roles is important for accessibility. With Cetec ERP, I can create specific roles that grant access to some users while restricting it for others. This feature protects sensitive information from unauthorized modifications. In the medical device industry, traceability is important and the usage logs allow admins to track user activities like viewing, updating, deleting and creating records. Also the system is user-friendly which makes navigation simple and better organization improves process accuracy and compliance.

Cons

Default roles should be visible for easier assignment and customization. And the default reports are user-friendly but lack the level of customization that would benefit the company without purchasing an additional module. With more restrictions in place, it becomes time-consuming to wait for the person who has access.

“Available guides helped me learn the software better

Pros

The customer service team is outstanding. They are very responsive and helpful in addressing my questions. Also they provide options and how-to guides that allow me to understand how the software can meet my needs. Additionally this software excels in providing the traceability required for our ITAR-compliant organization.

Cons

I would save time if I could enter one piece of information, like lead time that applies to multiple lines of an order at once instead of entering the same data line by line.

Pros

Using this software has made ordering and shipping products pretty smooth. It meets all my expectations. Plus the customer support is excellent too.

Cons

Cetec software can become slow at times which makes it difficult for us to use it.

Cetec interface is user-friendly, cloud-based, highly customizable and the customer support is very responsive. We truly like it!

The operations are very slow at times and it is difficult to self-learn the system.

“Nothing so special about it

Pros

This tool is excellent for monitoring and managing inventory. Plus it offers a clear overview of all raw materials and assemblies.

Cons

While this is a solid inventory management system, it offers multiple ways to customize my experience for the company, but there is no documentation on how to do this. I often have to ask very specific questions through the support feature to make any progress.

Pros

Software architecture is solid, and the modules are very simple. Plus the system is quick that improves usability.

Cons

There are some vague aspects concerning reporting and the overall product needs updates to meet future requirements.

“Price is reasonable and transparent from the start

Pros

The cost is transparent from day one. I knew the installation cost and it stayed the same till the end. Other providers struggled to give us a quote when we were selecting software. The system design meets our needs well which allows us to monitor production at every stage. I particularly like the "Outsource PO" button which allows seamless communication with our contract manufacturer.

Cons

One and only downside is that the ERP design isn't quite user friendly. It feels like everyone is accustomed to a left-side menu where each item launches with one click, whereas CETEC has a menu at the top of the page, resembling website architecture.

“Great but has too many restrictions

Pros

Cetec software covers all business aspects, though it has some limitations. While a CRM is included it does not compare to the extent of Zoho CRM.

Cons

There are many restrictions to note: 1. The CRM does not cover all aspects, 2. Training material is either unavailable or very generic, 3. There's no trial space and 4. Admin assistance is lacking.

“Still exploring it!

Pros

The system is fast, easy to search, allows document uploads and provides easy access to order histories. I can also contact customers directly through the system for email acknowledgments and invoices.

Cons

Cetec is missing a few features that should be standard for production such as managing stock in multiple revisions and having ECO for stock items.
