Good support for purchasing

Pros

Is part of our daily purchasing routine and it has really helped speed up the daily buying process. It offers a wide range of features that help guide and support the purchasing team when deciding what to buy and when to place orders.

Cons

System gives us purchase recommendations each day but it would be even better if it worked in a live environment and refreshed those recommendations more often.

quick stock lookups and exports

Pros

One thing that has been really helpful is being able to search stock items and check box quantities right away. It's also very useful to pull up stock alternatives without wasting time and exporting stock transfers saves me from having to type everything out manually.

Cons

I'm still new to the software so I have a lot left to learn. At the moment though there isn't anything I can say I dislike about it.

all stock info in one place

Pros

Navigating the software feels easy and having all the information you need gathered in one place is really convenient.

Cons

For now I haven't come across anything I dislike about the software.

My review

Pros

Managing more than 4000 SKUs used to be a real challenge for us especially when it came to forecasting accurately. It looks at every item individually, tracks shifts in demand and adjusts the forecast accordingly which solved a problem we had been struggling with for a long time. Another big improvement has been the ordering process. It used to take a lot of time moving information from Excel into our ERP but that is now automated which has saved the team a huge amount of time and lets us focus more on planning instead of just entering data. The dynamic lead time feature is also really valuable because it reflects real life lead times for each product so orders are forecasted using the most accurate timing possible. On top of that the support from therir team especially Cristina has been outstanding. From the initial training sessions that made sure we understood the system properly to the monthly check ins once we were actively using it, the support has been excellent! Emails are always answered quickly whenever we have questions. The part I value most is that it feels like an ongoing partnership where you keep working together to do what is best for your business and help it grow through the system.

Cons

At the beginning the only real difficulty we had with the software was getting used to some of the terminology around demand types. For example what we would normally call a best seller was labeled as erratic whereas we would describe it as fastmoving. Once you spend more time in the system and understand what the different terms mean it does start to make sense.

excellent features

Pros

Right from the start the software has felt like a really solid system and excellent value for money. It offers strong functions, is easy to use and integrates without much trouble. There's also a lot you can handle internally which makes it even more useful. Other than that their approach to support and licensing feels genuinely innovative which is a refreshing change in the IT industry.

Cons

There are a few areas where the reporting isn't built into the system yet but their support team can create those reports for you and send them by email.

smart stock recommendations

Pros

After getting through the training it becomes fairly easy to work with. It automatically suggests orders that support more efficient stock holding by factoring in demand, lead times and the target service levels we've set ourselves so we still keep that important sense of control.

Cons

Reviewing all of the item alerts can take quite a bit of time although the available filters do help make that job more manageable.

Super dependable!

Pros

Compared with our old ordering process this feels far more comprehensive and gives me a lot more confidence in the forecasts because it considers so many different factors. That level of detail makes it feel more accurate and dependable. Cristina, our dedicated manager has also been a big help. She's very well informed, quick to support the team with any questions and always encourages us to build our understanding of the system so we can get even more value from it.

Cons

Because the system takes so many variables into account it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming and more complex than expected.

better suited to larger orders

Pros

It offers proactive suggestions for stock that is no longer moving which helps when certain items stop selling.

Cons

It seems more useful for businesses that are able to place larger volume orders and it also has spacing issues.

No more guesswork

Pros

One of the best parts of the software is how much guesswork it removes from purchasing since it really does the hard thinking for you. It connects smoothly with our ERP system (Merlin Business Software) thanks to the existing integration and it updates twice a day. Support has also been consistently good and our account manager Marek has been especially helpful whenever needed.

Cons

There is a slight lack of flexibility which is fairly understandable for a web based system and we do run into occasional update errors. That said those issues are usually resolved pretty quickly.
