“always provide the best support”
Pros
Report customization is one of the strongest parts of IDU-Concept and the access security settings are also very good. On top of that the customer service we received has been really helpful.
Cons
One limitation is that I cannot drill down to the transaction level from the income statement. Creating dashboards is also fairly complicated and the user access setup doesn't feel very security-friendly.

“good tool for budgeting”
Pros
The system covers a wide range of budgeting functions we need which makes it very practical for day to day use. On top of that it delivers really good value for the money.
Cons
I feel like the thing that could be improved is the user interface. I am not sure whether that's specific to the version we're currently using but it does feel like the UI could be better designed.

“Budgeting made quicker”
Pros
Across our group of companies, IDU-Concept has fully automated budgeting and forecasting and it has cut our annual budgeting process down from taking months to just a few days.
Cons
At the beginning, the interface is a bit complex and takes some getting used to. It could definitely use a more modern look, although it has been making regular updates and improvements to it.

“amazing for budgeting and reporting”
Pros
IDU-Concept has made budgeting, planning and reporting much more efficient and easy for everyone involved. Plus it supports all stakeholders well and has really improved how we handle these processes.
Cons
It does take time to put the background setup in place especially when it comes to dashboard design. It would be even better if the consultants were more intentional about setting aside time to guide and support clients through that setup work, so we can consistently get the full value from the system.

It gives a clear, consolidated high-level view while still letting you drill down into specific entities and departments to investigate variances in detail.
Cons
The screens can feel complicated for some users when they first log in but that is often resolved with the right initial setup and by keeping the interface relevant to their needs.

Cons

It's very comprehensive without feeling complicated and being able to instantly view financial information is a big advantage.
Cons
Well I really don't have any major complaints. The only slight drawback is that the local setup can be a bit limiting and a cloud-based version would be the ideal approach and my preferred recommendation.

Pros
Using this product is quite easy and it's simple to work with. The cloud-based setup runs without interruptions and the frequent daily syncs with the ERP make it much easier to keep reports relevant and up to date.
Cons
Data integration into it could be more intelligently automated, since too much of the process still needs to be handled manually. It also requires very specific rule mapping, otherwise undefined characters can cause reports not to reconcile.

The platform is user friendly and the interface is simple to work with. It's flexible enough to adapt as business needs change and the consultants are quick to respond whenever support is needed.
Cons
At the moment it doesn't include an e-procurement module, so we still have to rely on separate systems which can sometimes lead to integration issues.

Having budgeting and reporting built into the same platform is a big advantage, since it means we only need one solution instead of managing separate systems.

It is very easy to use. If you ever get stuck, there's a help icon you can click that gives more detail about the section you're viewing which is really useful.
Cons

“One version of the truth”

This software has been a game changer for us. It has organized our budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, helping us produce reliable, high-quality information for better business decisions. Everyone works from the same version of the truth and sees the same data at the same time which has completely eliminated the back-and-forth with spreadsheets and constant version updates.
Cons
The only area that could use some improvement is the overall look and feel of the application. That said I understand those aesthetic enhancements are already planned for the next update which is really exciting.

The system is very simple and customizing reports doesn't take much effort. The management reporting features have really helped organize our processes.
Cons
One limitation is that historical data integration refreshes only go back three months. Anything beyond that has to be handled by the consultants and there's an extra cost for those requests.

To me the usability stood out and the connection with our finance system has been really helpful for loading and uploading budgets and actuals. It supports reporting across the whole organization well and it didn't take long to learn or get comfortable with.
Cons
The system is giving us what we need, so there aren't really any major drawbacks to mention. If anything, the only limitation is on our side as we just haven't had enough time to explore more of the system and make better use of the other modules.

IDU-Concept is very approachable to use. Even without a finance background, it's simple to move around the system, enter budgets and generate reports without having to rely on the finance team for help.
Cons
