It is really helpful that all the key information is gathered in one place. I also like how it connects well with the other software we use which makes importing student information much more convenient.

Cons

Reporting tools are hard to work with and don't feel very simple. It also seems to be missing some features and options that are available in other software.

Recording student attendance is very simple for me and I can add comments that help the operations team understand why a student was absent. That gives staff better visibility into what is going on with students and their families.

Getting around the student data can be frustrating. When I need to search for a student and view their personal information, I have to click through several different sections to find it. On top of that some details are restricted so only the operations and administration teams can access them.

Infinite Campus handles a lot of school-related work really well for me, from entering scores and posting grades to printing rosters, tracking student progress, sending messages and taking attendance. It's easy to use overall and includes many of the features that are important on a daily basis.

Cons

Layout could be a little more simplified so certain features are quicker and easier to find.

Submitting attendance through the control center is really convenient for me and I appreciate how much detailed information I can pull up for any individual student.

Cons

The downside is that the software feels very non-simple. It's hard to track down basic things I need, like report card reporting, student usernames and passwords, contact information, addresses and more. Compared with other similar programs, this has been the hardest one for me to work with because of that issue.

Pros

Right away, I appreciated how much this product lets me do. I use it for grading, attendance, seating charts and sending messages home and I'm still discovering features I haven't had the chance to explore yet. Another big plus is being able to access it from school, from home, or anywhere else as long as I have a device.

Cons

Because it offers so many features, there's still a lot I haven't learned how to use yet. I really wish there had been more in-depth training so I could understand everything it can do.

Managing things has been pretty easy for me, whether it's entering staff, student, COVID and similar details.

It doesn't offer many fields or sections for adding personal information.

Right after signing in, I noticed everything is laid out in a really simple way. The dashboard gives me my schedule, assignments and the rest of the day's important details all in one place. The side menu also covers everything I need, like gradebook updates, calendars and other tools so getting around the platform feels very easy. One feature I really appreciate is being able to customize the notifications.

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be the software's theme. The green color looks pretty unattractive and can be harsh on the eyes.

I really appreciate that everything is available in a single, user-friendly platform. It lets us keep track of students' grades, attendance, parent contact details and a lot more without jumping between different tools.

Cons

The only drawback that really comes to mind is that the website occasionally goes down. That said tech support is usually very responsive and gets it running again quickly.

One thing that really stands out to me is how strong the onboarding team is. They bring in technical specialists who genuinely try to solve problems especially when the sales team has overpromised. The platform itself is powerful, aligns well with the requirements across different states and gives direct database access. Once I became familiar with the interface, I found it fairly easy to use.

Cons

Biggest downside is the cost. Nearly everything comes with an extra fee and if you need one specific feature, you're often forced to pay for a premium package loaded with A-Z features, most of which you'll never actually use. During the sales process, it sounds like the system includes everything you need but later you realize the core product is very limited. After signing, it really feels like a bait and switch. For a smaller school or a district with simpler needs, the product becomes incredibly expensive. It also feels like the company is focused mainly on large, high-budget districts and doesn't pay much attention to smaller ones. I want my district to get real value for its money and support our students and parents but the sales team has been unhelpful, full of excuses and seems far more interested in closing deals than supporting customers.

The organizational tools are probably my favorite part. I also appreciate the different ways it lets me view my students' grades and attendance and I find adding new grading tasks very simple and convenient.

Cons

I'd still like to see more flexibility with report customization. At times, it's difficult to adjust the reports to match exactly what I need so I'm hoping the report-building process becomes more user-friendly over time.

One thing this program does well for me is keep basic record information for all students in one place. It also gives me the ability to assign user access based on specific roles and enrollments which is helpful for managing permissions.

Cons

Moving from one student record to another could be much more easy. If an autodialer message is sent to contacts in a roster, it does not get logged automatically in the contacts and has to be added one by one instead. The program also does not connect very well with other educational platforms.

Keeping up with grade reporting is much more manageable for me with this software and I find it's been more useful for parents, teachers and students overall. Recording student attendance is also very easy which is a definite plus.

Cons

One frustration is that grades do not always sync properly and submitting final grades feels more complicated than it should be. I also wish it connected better with other educational grade reporting systems so everything could work together more effectively for students, parents and teachers.

Having student attendance, behavior, schedules, parent contacts, grade books, communication tools and final grades all in one place is incredibly helpful for me especially since everything can be cross-referenced whenever needed. The digital behavior referrals are one of my favorite parts because they are instant and fully electronic.

At the beginning, it was a little complicated to navigate and figure out how to access all of its many functions.

I find it really helpful to have so much student information in one system. I can look up attendance, IEP details, health information and grades without jumping between different programs. Entering data is easy too and I appreciate that there are lots of choices for setting up grade weighting.

Because the program holds so much information, tracking down exactly what I need can sometimes take extra time. The reporting tools feel a bit finicky and could be more simple to use. Group email features could also be better especially if there were a way to sync with Gmail since my school relies on Google Education apps.

One thing that really works well for me is the variety of ways you can run searches. It's also very helpful that adhoc reports can be created directly from the database.

Without special clearances, access to certain information is restricted so you have to rely on other people to get data that could otherwise be queried.

Receiving alerts about my kids' grade updates has been really helpful for me. It lets me stay on top of their schoolwork progress anytime I need to check in.

Once I'm inside the program, the navigation feels a little confusing. It can be challenging to locate different information for each student.

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. On top of that some features have become harder to find or use after the newer updates.
