Being able to manage all of my kids' school updates in one place has been really helpful for me, from adding money to their lunch accounts to reporting absences for sickness or doctor's appointments.

Cons

It's not quite as simple as I'd want it to be. Fees show up in different places, attendance-related items are also split across multiple sections and it logs me out pretty often which gets a little annoying.

Right away, I noticed the biggest advantage is how clean and easy the system feels. The simple Instruction view gives users a very clear way to move through the main areas they need most. Compared with some SIS platforms that feel crowded and overly complicated, I find this one follows more of a less-is-more design which works especially well for people who are not very tech savvy or who are not comfortable exploring systems on their own.

Cons

At the same time, the thing it does best can also be the thing that holds it back. While that simplicity is helpful for users who are less confident with technology, it may feel limiting for anyone who wants more depth from their SIS. There is not much room for customization and there also are not many hidden or advanced features for more independent, curious users to explore.

Managing and using it is frustrating. The controls don't feel simple and a lot of the features are hard to make use of. Too many tools are buried in menus which makes them difficult to find without digging around.

Having access to so many reports, along with the option to create my own, helps me pull information quickly and has practically cut my workload in half. I also rely on the WIZARD for scheduling and I find it very user-friendly. On top of that, I use the reports to help make sure grading stays fair and consistent.

Everything needed for educational monitoring is built into it and I find that very convenient. The interface is very user-friendly and simple to move around in. The home page under the "Instruction" section works as a central hub where I can find daily information at a glance. From there, I can view the students and classes on my schedule, take attendance and check which assignments are due or still need grading. It also makes it simple for me to jump to tools like rosters, gradebooks, messages, attendance records, reports, student data and other resources. Recording data, creating assignments, entering grades and pulling up student information all feel very easy to me. I also value the privacy settings since the system only gives me access to students who are actually rostered to me which helps protect other students' information across the school. The "Campus Tools" area is also very helpful, with features like reports, behavior tracking and logs, messaging and student data. Another thing I really appreciate is that when I submit behavior reports there, they are automatically sent to administration for review and follow-up so issues are brought to their attention right away.

Cons

One feature that would make this even better is built-in parent communication for each class so teachers could send emails, texts, or phone messages directly to families about individual students or class-wide updates. Right now, there is no parent communication tool included which means any outreach to parents has to be handled in a separate system and logged separately as well. With everything teachers already have to manage, it would be much more convenient to keep all of that in one place instead of having to switch between platforms.

Reporting tools are hard to work with and don't feel very simple. It also seems to be missing some features and options that are available in other software.

Getting around the student data can be frustrating. When I need to search for a student and view their personal information, I have to click through several different sections to find it. On top of that some details are restricted so only the operations and administration teams can access them.

Infinite Campus handles a lot of school-related work really well for me, from entering scores and posting grades to printing rosters, tracking student progress, sending messages and taking attendance. It's easy to use overall and includes many of the features that are important on a daily basis.

Submitting attendance through the control center is really convenient for me and I appreciate how much detailed information I can pull up for any individual student.

The downside is that the software feels very non-simple. It's hard to track down basic things I need, like report card reporting, student usernames and passwords, contact information, addresses and more. Compared with other similar programs, this has been the hardest one for me to work with because of that issue.

Right away, I appreciated how much this product lets me do. I use it for grading, attendance, seating charts and sending messages home and I'm still discovering features I haven't had the chance to explore yet. Another big plus is being able to access it from school, from home, or anywhere else as long as I have a device.

Because it offers so many features, there's still a lot I haven't learned how to use yet. I really wish there had been more in-depth training so I could understand everything it can do.

Right after signing in, I noticed everything is laid out in a really simple way. The dashboard gives me my schedule, assignments and the rest of the day's important details all in one place. The side menu also covers everything I need, like gradebook updates, calendars and other tools so getting around the platform feels very easy. One feature I really appreciate is being able to customize the notifications.

If I could change one thing, it would be the software's theme. The green color looks pretty unattractive and can be harsh on the eyes.

One thing that really stands out to me is how strong the onboarding team is. They bring in technical specialists who genuinely try to solve problems especially when the sales team has overpromised. The platform itself is powerful, aligns well with the requirements across different states and gives direct database access. Once I became familiar with the interface, I found it fairly easy to use.

Cons

Biggest downside is the cost. Nearly everything comes with an extra fee and if you need one specific feature, you're often forced to pay for a premium package loaded with A-Z features, most of which you'll never actually use. During the sales process, it sounds like the system includes everything you need but later you realize the core product is very limited. After signing, it really feels like a bait and switch. For a smaller school or a district with simpler needs, the product becomes incredibly expensive. It also feels like the company is focused mainly on large, high-budget districts and doesn't pay much attention to smaller ones. I want my district to get real value for its money and support our students and parents but the sales team has been unhelpful, full of excuses and seems far more interested in closing deals than supporting customers.

The organizational tools are probably my favorite part. I also appreciate the different ways it lets me view my students' grades and attendance and I find adding new grading tasks very simple and convenient.

I'd still like to see more flexibility with report customization. At times, it's difficult to adjust the reports to match exactly what I need so I'm hoping the report-building process becomes more user-friendly over time.

One thing this program does well for me is keep basic record information for all students in one place. It also gives me the ability to assign user access based on specific roles and enrollments which is helpful for managing permissions.

Moving from one student record to another could be much more easy. If an autodialer message is sent to contacts in a roster, it does not get logged automatically in the contacts and has to be added one by one instead. The program also does not connect very well with other educational platforms.

Keeping up with grade reporting is much more manageable for me with this software and I find it's been more useful for parents, teachers and students overall. Recording student attendance is also very easy which is a definite plus.

One frustration is that grades do not always sync properly and submitting final grades feels more complicated than it should be. I also wish it connected better with other educational grade reporting systems so everything could work together more effectively for students, parents and teachers.

The digital behavior referrals are one of my favorite parts because they are instant and fully electronic.

Because the program holds so much information, tracking down exactly what I need can sometimes take extra time. The reporting tools feel a bit finicky and could be more simple to use. Group email features could also be better especially if there were a way to sync with Gmail since my school relies on Google Education apps.

I really appreciate that everything about our students is stored in one place. I don't have to go digging for IEPs, medical details, allergies, or past grades anymore because it's all right there when I need it. Being able to enter multiple grades at once is also a huge plus and it makes the process really simple.

One thing I'd really like is the ability to view a student's grades from the previous semester on the same page as their current grades. That would make it much easier to tell whether their performance is improving or starting to slip.

Anyone who has worked in education has probably come across it at some point. I found the tabs simple to locate and having two separate search bars, one for students and one for tabs, was really useful. That setup made my work much more manageable. I also really appreciated the high-risk tab bar because it clearly shows which students may be slipping through the cracks so I can step in and support them in specific areas like attendance, grades and stability.

Honestly I do not have much negative to say about it. If I had to point out something small, it would be the student search bar. I wish it allowed searches by first name and offered more results options since right now you can only search by a student's last name. It would also be helpful to have a search bar for parents so you could look them up and connect them to their student or students.

I've found that having IC makes it simple to pull up IEPs and review medical notes or other student alerts whenever needed. I can also print information to share with staff and add assessment details that the whole team can access and use.

Back when we tried using IC for grade tracking, it wasn't a good fit for us at the elementary school level. Since we stopped using it for that, I really don't have any complaints now.

I honestly don't see any major downsides to the software. If anything, I'd just like to see a section where parents can leave a comment or confirm that they've acknowledged a grade in some way.

One thing I'd love to see is the ability to rotate desks in the seating chart. It would also help to have an option for class-specific student nicknames. Right now, only admin-level users can enter nicknames which gets frustrating when a student wants to go by a nickname instead of their first name.

I use it to check their grades, view and add money to their food service balances and find teacher contact information whenever I need to send an email with a question. The information is refreshed every day so I can stay updated on grades and any missing or outstanding work to help make sure they keep up. I truly love this software.

At this point, I haven't run into any issues with the software. Everything I personally need is right there and available with just a click.

The grading tools are also clear and uncomplicated even for teachers who are not very comfortable with technology.

Although the grading tools are easy, they take more time than they should. Since each subject area opens on a separate page, it becomes tedious for teachers managing multiple classes to click through everything. The help section also needs improvement because it is fairly limited and it often ends up being faster to ask a coworker instead which only adds more time to the process.
