“handy for school updates”

Pros

Being able to manage all of my kids' school updates in one place has been really helpful for me, from adding money to their lunch accounts to reporting absences for sickness or doctor's appointments.

Cons

It's not quite as simple as I'd want it to be. Fees show up in different places, attendance-related items are also split across multiple sections and it logs me out pretty often which gets a little annoying.

Parents are able to use it and I find it makes sharing information with the admin pretty easy.

The design is poor, it's hard to navigate and completing even one task takes far too many steps.

At times, there are so many menus that it becomes difficult to figure out where to find something.

Right away, I noticed the biggest advantage is how clean and easy the system feels. The simple Instruction view gives users a very clear way to move through the main areas they need most. Compared with some SIS platforms that feel crowded and overly complicated, I find this one follows more of a less-is-more design which works especially well for people who are not very tech savvy or who are not comfortable exploring systems on their own.

Cons

At the same time, the thing it does best can also be the thing that holds it back. While that simplicity is helpful for users who are less confident with technology, it may feel limiting for anyone who wants more depth from their SIS. There is not much room for customization and there also are not many hidden or advanced features for more independent, curious users to explore.

It handles grade calculations well and I also like that it includes the option to connect the SIS with Google Classroom.

Cons

Managing and using it is frustrating. The controls don't feel simple and a lot of the features are hard to make use of. Too many tools are buried in menus which makes them difficult to find without digging around.

Having access to so many reports, along with the option to create my own, helps me pull information quickly and has practically cut my workload in half. I also rely on the WIZARD for scheduling and I find it very user-friendly. On top of that, I use the reports to help make sure grading stays fair and consistent.

Honestly there's very little about it that I dislike.

It handles everything a school system needs and I find it goes beyond expectations.

A lot of the features come with a pretty steep learning curve.

Having everything about my student in one place has been incredibly helpful for me as a parent. I really appreciate being able to check their information and pull up unofficial transcripts whenever I need to without having to rely on anyone else.

The only downside is that teachers do not all use the system consistently. Some stay on top of posting grades early, while others wait until much later.

From an admin side, I find the platform includes plenty of tools for scheduling, maintaining records and handling grading.

It really feels like the people who built it never asked teachers what would actually help in day-to-day use. Tasks like entering behavior referrals, grades and assignments take far too many steps and the process is often buried under options that don't even apply.

Keeping up with my child's progress was really easy for me and I could log in remotely as long as I had Wi-Fi which made it very convenient.

One thing missing was the ability to update address changes and similar information. Support through our school district also felt limited and it usually took quite a while to get a response when there was an issue to resolve.

As a teacher, I really appreciate how much this software lets you do. It covers a lot and everything you need is right there in one place which makes it very convenient to use.

Cons

At times, you end up having to complete the same task in two different sections and that can get a bit annoying.

The standout feature for me has been the real-time communication. It works really well and has been the part I appreciate the most.

Cons

Switching between kids' profiles is the part I'm least happy with. It takes extra steps to move over to another child which can make the process a bit confusing.

Using it feels very simple to me. It's simple to look up students by class and quickly enter grades or absences.

Organization in the software could be a bit better but after you get familiar with where everything is, it still gets the job done.

I find it really helpful to have all of my students' school forms on one site and I'm able to keep up with grades and assignments without any hassle.

Only downside was the school-issued access code which was extremely long and a bit frustrating to enter.

Everything needed for educational monitoring is built into it and I find that very convenient. The interface is very user-friendly and simple to move around in. The home page under the "Instruction" section works as a central hub where I can find daily information at a glance. From there, I can view the students and classes on my schedule, take attendance and check which assignments are due or still need grading. It also makes it simple for me to jump to tools like rosters, gradebooks, messages, attendance records, reports, student data and other resources. Recording data, creating assignments, entering grades and pulling up student information all feel very easy to me. I also value the privacy settings since the system only gives me access to students who are actually rostered to me which helps protect other students' information across the school. The "Campus Tools" area is also very helpful, with features like reports, behavior tracking and logs, messaging and student data. Another thing I really appreciate is that when I submit behavior reports there, they are automatically sent to administration for review and follow-up so issues are brought to their attention right away.

Cons

One feature that would make this even better is built-in parent communication for each class so teachers could send emails, texts, or phone messages directly to families about individual students or class-wide updates. Right now, there is no parent communication tool included which means any outreach to parents has to be handled in a separate system and logged separately as well. With everything teachers already have to manage, it would be much more convenient to keep all of that in one place instead of having to switch between platforms.
