Pros
Its flexibility has made full customization possible, letting us automate tasks that used to be done by hand. That change has been huge for me personally since it's allowed me to work part-time and given me more time to be with my family. Another thing I really appreciate is how well the team pays attention to our workflow logic and builds the system around the specific details and complexities of our business.
Cons
It does work on mobile but navigating it and using the administration features on my phone is still pretty difficult.

Pros
Running this for a group of around 300 to 500 students has worked out really well for us. It's a web-based system that connects nicely with our LMS and it comes with several practical, easy features that have been genuinely useful. On top of that, the customer service and support team has been excellent throughout.
Cons
A few of the newer software updates took quite a while to roll out and we did run into some early challenges related to our specific requirements. That said they stayed committed and worked closely with us to come up with solutions.

During remote teaching, I found this to be a great place to keep all the important student information in one spot. I was able to use the system to email students as well as the full support team, including special educators, school coordinators, guardians, guidance counselors and others. That made it really helpful for keeping track of communication. On top of that, I could quickly pull up student profile details like addresses, phone numbers, IEPs, birthdays and similar information.
Cons
The timeout setting combined with the lack of autosave has been frustrating. I ended up losing an hour of report card data entry because the system logged me out and none of the information was saved. The email formatting is also very poor since it does not let you write messages with normal paragraph structure.

The bulk enrollment tools are helpful when the system isn't overloaded. I find updating student records easy and the customization options are a great plus.
Cons
At peak enrollment times, the platform struggles badly with heavy traffic. Pages keep spinning and the wait times become unacceptable especially when multiple users are in the system at once.

After more than ten years of running on a custom FileMaker Pro system, we finally needed something that offered more especially a parent portal and online access. We looked into a lot of different SIS options and our admin team ultimately chose this one as the best fit. Honestly I don't think another SIS could have matched the specific needs of our online charter school in Oregon as well as this one has. Throughout setup and implementation, I found the team responsive, available and very thoughtful about how they handled our unique programs. They supported us through every major reporting deadline during the year and were willing to customize the system for almost any request. The accessibility of the platform and the level of support have been fantastic.
Cons
Since we were among the first schools in Oregon to adopt the system, there was definitely a learning curve especially with the complicated Oregon reporting requirements. To their credit, the team stayed responsive, available and helped us hit every deadline but it's still important to understand that getting things right in a new state takes time. Switching SIS platforms is also a massive project on its own. It really shouldn't be underestimated how much time, staff effort and overall resources a migration like this will require.

Before we had this, we were stuck with duplicate data entry, information spread all over the place and a buggy course enrollment process across three different LMSs. Now I find we're able to scale the organization much faster based on our needs and everyone on staff can access the latest student information without any confusion. The whole team has also been incredibly responsive with every request and has stepped in on short notice more than once to help us out of tight spots even when the issue wasn't caused by them.
Cons
We've just made it through the first day of school using it and nothing came up from the student side that exposed any problems so I really don't have anything to add here.
