“Had a positive experience”
Pros
Getting the application up and running is quick and agile and the user-friendly design means very little training is needed. It's also flexible enough to integrate with third-party ERP systems and other applications. Another big plus is that it runs on all three major operating systems: Windows, iOS andAndroid. the technical support has been excellent.
Cons
The perpetual license is a little expensive though the subscription model is extremely affordable.

“excellent overall”
Pros
Since 2008, we've been building customer solutions on this platform and it has proven to be much more than just an application development environment. It also serves as a complete lifecycle management platform. That means we can inspect a client's database, view the client's screens andeven push remote updates to clients directly. The platform fits small customers, mid-sized businesses andlarge enterprises alike. It scales extremely well and supports Android, iOS andWindows. Deployment is flexible too and clients also have the option to run thick or thin, including web-based setups.
Cons
Nothing to complain about after bringing the software in to work with Android and iOS.

“cross-platform freedom”
Pros
Having full control over the database as middleware has been a huge advantage and I've even built out applications by extending their database itself. That level of flexibility is fantastic. Another big plus is being able to create one app for Windows, Apple andAndroid at the same time. It's an ideal setup for an agile rollout.
Cons
The platform felt pretty expensive at first but the newer subscription options have made the cost much more reasonable.

“excel-style setup”
Pros
Coming from Excel, this was very quick to pick up. If you're comfortable building formulas, the learning curve is pretty light andif you've done a lot with Excel macros, it feels even more adaptive. I can usually put together a new app in just a few hours andfield-requested changes can be added just as quickly. We run quite a few apps in the field and none of the others give us this level of customization.
Cons
It would also be really nice to have more control over how it shows up on iOS specially the ability to use a custom icon.

“Loving this no-code app builder”
Pros
You can tailor it to create just about any app for nearly any business process. It doesn't require coding that makes building things much more accessible. It also works across Windows, Android andiOS so deployment on different platforms is not a problem.
Cons
A few of the printing-related features are a little harder to work with as the software is clearly designed with a paperless approach in mind. That said, it can still generate PDFs for email and printing when needed.

“Great tool!”
Pros
Having full control over what gets built, how it works andwhen it gets done is easily the biggest advantage of this software. It gives non-developers the ability to design, build andmaintain applications without needing to write code. If you can handle basic Excel formulas, you can create apps in MobileFrame. Beyond that, it really comes down to having a creative mindset and being able to map out business processes so you can build an application that truly matches your needs.
Cons
They can imporve their licensing structure, mainly because the way it is presented feels a bit confusing. It is not really about the price itself, just how everything is laid out. I would also like a simpler way to add users and components without turning it into a big project. As far as the application itself goes, there is nothing I hate or even really dislike. There are just a few features I would like to see adjusted or refined but nothing major. To their credit some suggestions do make it into new releases so they do seem to listen to feedback.

“App building has never been quicker”
Pros
One thing that really works well here is the GUI builder. Dragging and dropping fields buttons, labels and other elements feels adaptive and it's especially useful that you can design layouts for specific devices like iPads, iPhones andWindows. Being able to set both portrait and landscape versions for every page on each device is a big plus. It also helps a lot that changes made in one layout can be cut and pasted into another so applying updates across multiple devices doesn't take much effort. The code-free workflow tools are surprisingly capable too, with features for generating PDFs, sending emails, handling grids andreading, writing or updating data. Even someone without any C# or object-oriented programming background can put together strong, functional apps in a short amount of time and it's quick to make edits, test them and deploy. I also appreciate that lines or sections of code can be disabled and shown grayed out that is genuinely useful.
Cons
Once an app gets more complex, there can be a huge number of fields, functions, grids, data objects and other elements to keep track of. Their Desktop development tool has some workflow sequences that become pretty long and it would be better if there were NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons to move through each occurrence found in those longer step lists. It's really more of a minor inconvenience than a serious problem though.

“Fantastic database integration”
Pros
I like its integration capability. It connects with all kinds of databases without much hassle that saves our company a lot of time and effort when we need to pull data from different sources.
Cons
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that some application features do not behave the same way on the thin client as they do on the native device clients. That said, this seems more related to how browsers interact with other applications than to its architecture itself.

“Very capable app builder”
Pros
Coming from a non-technical background, I was able to get comfortable with the toolset after the training. It wasn't something I mastered instantly and it still required a lot of effort on my part but with its ongoing support I feel like Im now building very functional apps.
Cons
Syncing data from the client handhelds back to the server was a bit challenging for me.

“powerful forms designer”
Pros
A standout part of the platform is the forms designer. It makes it possible to build efficient, workflow-driven paginated forms instead of the usual generic scroll-down forms you tend to get with lower-cost alternatives.
Cons
Compared with some competing cloud-based products, it doesn't include as many native web service integrations out of the box. The integration capabilities are still strong but they usually need to be customized.
