Pros
We found that it connects really well with our other systems which made integration feel smooth rather than forced. It was also simple to roll out across all of our teams, with minimal disruption or lengthy training. And we absolutely love the report-building features as they're flexible and powerful enough to give us real insights without needing a data expert. It's a tool that works with us not against us.
Cons
Customer support has room for improvement especially when it comes to getting faster response times.

Pros
We can connect it with our data sources without any hassle. Setting up and building the financial models does take a bit of work upfront but once everything is in place, we find it very manageable to maintain.
Cons
Until very recently (January 2025), collaboration for financial modeling was one area where the tool felt behind. They've now released a feature that looks like it will more than cover this need for budgeting processes going forward.

Pros
Right from the start we found the built-in metrics and setup options to be great. Setting up the models was easy and it's been simple for us to maintain them and make quick changes when needed. Canvas reporting has become our go-to source of truth for reporting at every month-end close.
Cons
At this point I haven't run into any real drawbacks since the platform has worked well for exactly what we needed it to do.

Pros
Having all of our data pulled together in one place has made our analysis really insightful. We're now able to compare metrics much faster, whereas putting those views together used to take us a lot more time.
Cons
Excel is still far more flexible when it comes to forecasting. The resource planning side also feels quite restrictive especially when we want to build in business-specific inputs.

We found the platform easy to pick up regardless of skill level and the integration process is just as simple. It's very convenient for us to bring data into the system and quickly turn around and present it or run analysis without much hassle.
Cons

Pros
Real-time updates make dashboards and reporting much simpler for us to manage. After a report is built, we can change the time period to create another version very easily. The modeling and forecasting tools also feel simple to us, while still being powerful enough for most needs. For instance, we can take an existing expense line and project it forward using different formula methods, whether that's keeping it flat, increasing it by a percentage or tying it to another driver like headcount. Overall it offers us a wide range of capabilities.
Cons
There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to building formulas and connecting different parts of a financial model. The formula syntax is also different from Excel or Google Sheets although the support site includes plenty of examples so it's still possible to figure out quite a lot without too much outside help.

“Lockdown control and dynamic charts”
Pros
One standout feature for us is the lockdown functionality especially for keeping version control in check. It also fills dynamic charts quickly which makes it much easier for us to present updates to stakeholders.
Cons
A challenge comes up when institutional investors need access since getting internal IT approval on their side can be difficult. On top of that, exporting reporting packages into Excel for sharing with them could be more easy.

“accurate modeling with excellent integrations”
Pros
What stands out most to us is how fluid and interactive the modeling feels. It can stay very simple when that's all we need but it also scales up well for more complex modeling. It's also not limited to finance which makes it useful for our operational needs too. On top of that, we've found the integrations to be excellent and consistently delivered on time.
Cons
I honestly don't have any real complaints. The only thing worth noting is that it does require a great understanding of your internal master data. That said this can actually be a benefit especially if your finance team needs a better grasp of how its data connects to the broader business.

“Clean command center visibility”
Pros
Right away, we noticed the clean interface and it connects really well with SFDC, Netsuite and Maxio which has helped us create a central command center and a single source of truth for the whole organization. The Canvas workspace is especially useful for our quick ad hoc analysis and it gives our functional leaders near real-time information so everyone can stay aligned and work from the same data. Connecting everything to Netsuite, SFDC and Maxio was also very fast for us which made it easier to validate the actual reporting data.
Cons
There's not much to complain about at this point. We only recently went live with the solution and are currently in the middle of preparing our FY25 budget so we're still learning the full range of what it can do. The formula syntax is also very similar to Excel which has made the transition fairly simple.

“fantastic for finance reporting”
Pros
Month-end finance work and reporting have become much more aligned for us with this tool. The reporting automation and the integrations with our existing systems have cut down a lot of the time and effort we used to spend on manual tasks especially when handling multiple entities that need congreatation. Being able to check key metrics quickly and in real time is a huge benefit for us and having instant access to current data helps us act faster and make decisions with confidence. We've also found the IT team to be knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely helpful in making sure we get the most value from the platform.
Cons
Getting fully comfortable with the platform does take some time at the beginning especially if you want to make full use of the more advanced features and customization options. That said the support team and the knowledge base tutorials are helpful and clear. There's also still room for improvement when it comes to adding some of the forecasting functionality that finance teams are typically used to which I hope will continue to be developed over time.

“interactive canvases with limits”
Pros
A feature that works particularly well for us is the ability to build and share canvases that include multiple charts and reports so we can set everything up once and then distribute the data in a way that other employees can explore without putting the original source data at risk. We also really appreciate the configuration option that lets us switch between a chart and a table without losing the settings, along with the ability to apply date ranges across every report on a canvas.
Cons
At the same time, the no-code approach does put some limits on customization compared with a platform that gives you at least some coding flexibility. Custom metrics support formulas but the available functions are still far more limited than what you'd get in a tool like Excel. The articles and webinars cover a lot but there are still gaps when it comes to building functions inside metrics and although the support team is very friendly, our more technical questions haven't really led to much progress or many useful solutions.

For us, the tool delivers quick time-to-value, with fast ROI through reporting and business insights. That matters a lot for our team since we don't have a lot of dedicated FP&A resources. On top of that, the integrations with multiple solutions, including QuickBooks, let us handle congreatation across several entities.
Cons
Forecast updates with standard shortcut keys don't always work as expected although that seems to be improving. The flexibility of the graphical views is also somewhat limited.

Building a new model in the platform has been a good experience for us because we can drill all the way down to the account category which is really useful. We've also found the customer support team to be very helpful, as they consistently answer our questions. The integrations add value too and a lot of that comes down to the great support behind them.
Cons
One weak spot is the Knowledge Base which isn't as simple as it is on other platforms. I had to go over it several times before I was able to create what I needed.

It doesn't take us much time or training to begin using this effectively. It covers all the usual FP&A needs and comes with a strong set of out-of-the-box metrics and dashboards that are especially valuable for our SaaS business. Since the platform was clearly designed with SaaS companies in mind, that played a big part in why we ultimately selected it.
Cons
Since the company is still relatively early in its journey, there are a few missing features and integrations although none of that was serious enough to stop us from moving forward. On the positive side, their team is very receptive to customer feedback and seems committed to following through on the product roadmap.

From sales and implementation through customer success and account management, we've found the support team is always there to make sure we have what we need and they're genuinely very helpful. The platform itself feels user-friendly and simple so it's not difficult for us to navigate. Once we set up the dashboards, they update automatically based on our reporting cadence, covering both actuals and forecasts.
Cons
Few drawbacks aren't really issues with the platform itself but they're still worth mentioning for anyone considering it. You need clean data coming from your source systems like ERP, CRM and HRIS, you need enough time available to learn the platform and actually use it well and it can take a while to move away from relying so heavily on Excel.

Bringing together GL, CRM, HRIS and other data sources has been extremely valuable for our reporting. It gives us a much better view of both past performance and future planning. Having data integrated from several systems has made a real difference and reporting and forecasting the business is far more manageable than when we depended on spreadsheets. We were also able to launch some basic out-of-the-box reporting fairly early in the process which was a big plus for us. On top of that, we've found the support team to be very responsive and helpful throughout implementation and whenever questions come up.
Cons
This platform seems to fit SaaS companies with recurring, predictable revenue streams best. Our projects do not really follow that model but the team was very helpful in building solutions that still worked well for our needs.

Having Sage and HubSpot integrated into one platform has been a big plus for us since it gives us a single source of truth for both financial and sales metrics. We've also found the modeling features to be really valuable and the implementation team gave us a lot of helpful support while we were building out our dynamic models.
Cons
The product is still adding new features and capabilities which is encouraging but right now the customization options for charts and tables are somewhat limited. That said the team has been very open to feedback and different requirements so I'd expect this area to keep improving over time.

Right away, we noticed the automated connections with NetSuite and BambooHR were a big plus. The implementation and data mapping process went very well for us and I've also been happy with the UI, graphs and customization options. We've seen that customer support responds quickly and actually helps resolve issues which makes a difference. The AI question tool has also been very useful especially when it includes a supporting video.
Cons
At times certain filters or data updates are harder to locate than I'd expect since they aren't always placed where I naturally look so it's not as user-friendly in that way. It also doesn't support integration with multiple Stripe databases.

We found it easy to get started with the platform because the interface is simple and easy to follow. It connects with multiple systems and pulls data in easily which saves us a lot of time. After learning the basics, moving around the platform feels simple to me. As the primary user working in it weekly, that usability matters a lot. Their support team has also been very responsive and for quick questions, I've found the chatbot genuinely helpful.
Cons
The product has definitely been evolving and over the several years I've used it, I've seen some major improvements. That said there are still a few frustrations. I have to unpublish models before making edits which makes it hard to update a model while also viewing the canvas at the same time. Another limitation is that data coming in from source systems can't be edited. I understand the need to maintain consistency but there are cases where I'd want to adjust something like an employee's department for modeling purposes even if it differs from what's listed in our HRIS.
