Powerful collaborative budgeting

Pros

One of the things I liked most was the ability to build budgets collaboratively, along with the option to create customized reports for analyzing the P&L across different dimensions. Another major advantage is the automated budget control for each line item which makes it much easier to review deviations and percentage changes. I also see a lot of value in being able to create different scenarios with different types of adjustments.

Cons

I honestly don't think there's any particular downside worth pointing out.

Excel integration with flexible analysis

Pros

Having multiple users with manageable profiles is really useful. The information is available at all times through predefined access levels and creating different scenarios helps a lot. I can also combine data by period to get more than one result or analysis alternative which adds a lot of value. The implementation is adaptable enough to work alongside an ERP and the administrator has the security and control to open or close data editing when needed. On top of that it is fully integrated with Excel.

Cons

One limitation is that you cannot work 100% inside the platform. Entering new information or modifying data in dimensions still has to be done through Excel. Also, when working with monthly forecasts, generating the initial information is not as dynamic as it is in the planning process.

Accessible and dynamic for teams

Pros

It's an accessible, dynamic and functional tool for the finance area as well as the other departments that work with it.

Cons

A key benefit is the time efficiency, since the information is available to each area directly and they do not have to rely on the finance team to review it.
