“Solid value”
Pros
Coming from never having used an ERP before, this system felt simple to get into. It cuts out a lot of the repetitive data entry that used to eat up time when we were working from old spreadsheets. Everything connects nicely and is right there when you need it almost like opening a filing cabinet folder with every document already filed and ready to view. It also linked up with our new accounts software. There were a few small issues during that process but support was quick to help resolve them. Overall it's a well rounded system and good value for money :)
Cons
One area that still takes too much time is recording holidays in the personnel section. There's no way to block out a full week so every single day has to be entered separately for each employee including statutory holidays. Once you have several employees that becomes very time consuming and involves far too much manual entry.

“Amazing project tracking”
Pros
Getting started with this software was easy and it's simple to learn and work with. It does a really good job of helping me keep track of projects all the way through from the initial enquiry right up to delivery and installation.
Cons
The interface could use a few improvements particularly the dashboard which feels like it could be refined further.

“helpful support”
Pros
The support team is always very helpful when needed and the software itself is quite simple to figure out.
Cons
After a sales order is created you can't update the enquiry anymore and those details carry over to the works order. That means the works order has to be edited manually afterward.

“Good fit for our business”
Pros
Something that really works well is how much I can adapt it to suit the way my business operates. It's a well rounded system that covers pretty much everything I need it to do.
Cons
Every now and then it glitches and ends up changing things like markups and margins.

“powerful tools for daily operations”
Pros
When our business adopted this ERP I was not a part of it but I was told the setup process was very easy. The admin before me had documented everything in database files and that information was somehow brought into the software. Before that U Roof relied on lots of spreadsheets to handle operations which made everything feel scattered and disorganized so investing in an ERP made a lot of sense. The software itself is very functional and it was incredibly simple to get started with the first time I used it. We use most of what it offers at U-Roof from purchase orders through to invoicing and we're planning to start using the inventory management side of it soon as well. Overall it includes the features you need to run a business and I would definitely recommend it.
Cons
Visually the interface is not the most appealing and sometimes feels like software from the early 2000s. That said the simplicity of the layout is actually something I appreciate because it made the system easier to learn and use when I was first getting started. It's probably even more of a benefit for people who are less comfortable with computers.

“All in one stock and order control”
Pros
Having everything in one system has made a big difference for us. The software keeps orders, stock, suppliers and purchasing all together in one place which makes daily management much more practical. It also handles shop floor jobs and goods-in really well so the whole process feels connected instead of scattered across different tools.
Cons
It did take us a while to fully understand the best way to use it although that was more down to our setup than the software itself so it shouldn't put anyone off. We carry a large number of products with lots of variations and figuring out the right way to manage all of that in this platform was definitely a bit challenging at first.

“Positive experience”
Pros
At a glance it makes project management really simple and keeps me updated on anything that's still outstanding.
Cons
At the beginning it requires tome time to get used to but once it clicks, problems are pretty rare. It's also not the nicest looking platform visually though it makes up for that by being very functional and logical in the way it works.

“clear dashboard”
Pros
The color coded dashboard is very simple to work with and it gives a quick visual view of any overdue purchase orders or works orders that need chasing or prioritizing.
Cons
After working with other MRP systems such as SAP, FileMaker and Orderwise, I think there still needs to be a better way to handle items that are not purely BUY or MAKE but a mix of both. A good example would be a free issue part that is sent to a supplier as a raw turning and then returned anodized, painted or plated or a part sent to a subcontractor for an added process or assembly step. A hybrid purchase/work order would solve this.

“visible linked workflows”
Pros
Using this software has had a really positive effect across every part of the business. The linked processes are easy to work with and having the information visible at all times makes everything much clearer day to day.
Cons
One improvement that would help is better linking between personnel and resources since we treat them as the same thing. If someone in personnel becomes unavailable it would be useful to see the impact on resources straight away.

“time saving”
Pros
Moving between different parts of the software feels very smooth especially when switching from sales orders to works orders without needing much input from the user. That flow helps keep the day productive, saves time and makes it much easier to follow every stage of a job from the initial quote right through to invoicing.
Cons
The scheduling side could be better at least from what I've seen so far. I haven't spent as much time using that feature but the way the schedule is displayed feels like it could be more user friendly visually.

“Project tracking is easy”
Pros
Across the company everyone can see exactly where a project stands and follow the simple process from start to finish. The built in prompts make each stage clear so nothing gets skipped before moving on to the next step.
Cons
Earlier on I ran into a problem with invoice figures being rounded incorrectly. After I reached out to their team fo help, they fixed it quickly and I haven't had any issues with it since.

“easy to use”
Pros
Getting started doesn't take much time because the layout is easy and simple to figure out. It makes keeping track of stock levels very manageable and placing orders when needed is just as convenient.
Cons
Something I'd really like to see improved is the option to group delivery notes for the same company and email them together as a single file since that would save a lot of time.
