Using it for years and pretty happy so far

Pros

We have been using AMO at CSAE for years now and it's really grown with us. Every time we needed to expand or adapt, the system kept up without a hitch. Also it is easy to use but still flexible. What really stands out is the support as the enitre team have been absolutely incredible. They always respond quickly, no matter what kind of questions or challenges we throw their way. AMO has truly been an awesome partner for CSAE and our wider association network in Colorado.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind because whenever we had a need the team always worked through it with us and found a solution.

It is a great and complete package

Pros

Been with AMO for over five years now and honestly I would not even think about changing. It does everything we need for handling memberships and managing events. Uploading and exporting data is also very smooth and you can search for anything you want, whether it i a default field or something custom. Plus messaging is built in so staying in touch with members is easy. We host several events monthly and the registration options make things simple for both members and non-members. After events we can issue certificates straight from AMO and they are saved to each member's profile which makes things efficient and cuts down on calls.

Cons

The documentation was not great at first but I think it has gotten better since we started using the system.

Support team is outstanding

Pros

I really like how simple it is to send out dues invoices and track payments individually. Plus it makes managing finances so much easier.

Cons

Well I wish invoices could be grouped under the individual or organization like in Your Membership or Community Brands. As they have lots of features that would be really useful in AMO.

Does what we expected it to do

Pros

AMO platform is pretty easy to use and their support team is just fantastic. I have been using AMO for more than a decade now and it's been amazing to see how much it has improved in recent years. Plus the updates and new features keep making it better.

Cons

The website builder can be tricky to use without some help and I think it would be great if there were more messaging templates or features for sending newsletters and similar items.

This tool is a lifesaver

Pros

If you are running an association this tool is a lifesaver. It's user friendly and makes handling members and events feel seamless. Also considering the price it's an excellent deal. The event features are simple too and pulling reports or sending updates to members is not an issue anymore with the membership tools. Their customer support is top-tier like it is way better than most other options out there.

Cons

AMO website editor still feels a bit clunky. I feel like it would be nicer if it were more user friendly. Also being able to send newsletters with clickable hyperlinks like in Constant Contact without relying on third-party tools would be ideal.

Simply perfect

Pros

There is honestly so much to like. I manage a member-based association and I use a lot of the features. Overall it has been a total game-changer as I didn't realize how outdated my old processes were until I switched. Support is also one of the best as they have been amazing to work with.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of anything I don't like. I really enjoy everything about it.

Offers first-class service

Pros

What got us hooked on AMO was how simple it was to bring in our data and manage our members. One cool thing is that since our data formats tend to change every year AMO always comes through and creates new scripts just for us when we need them. That kind of support is rare.

Cons

Sometimes it feels a bit awkward to use especially since some of the labels and codes don't quite match how I think about things. But that just meant I had to rewire my brain a bit!

Makes our job stress-free

Pros

Their support team makes everything so easy. And I love how they will do screen shares and even record videos of the walkthroughs as it's very helpful to have that to look back on later.

Cons

Recurring dues are set for the year but we'd prefer to have them due in June instead.

The offer top notch support and a great set of features that make it easy for us to keep track of members, plan events and stay in touch. Also it has really helped us stay organized.

Support team is always available for help

Pros

AMO is so easy to navigate and their team is always quick to help when we need it. That combo makes a big difference.

Cons

It is frustrating that we can't customize individual member profile pages much though adding fields on a custom page is possible.

It is amazing

Pros

What I really enjoy is just how simple it is to use this software. Every module is pretty user friendly and they are always updating things to keep everything current.

Cons

The website module is pretty basic and it feels to me a bit like a standard template.

Saves me a lot of time

Pros

There are so many dental software options out there that after some time all become overwhelming. But thanks to AMO being able to filter by exactly what our office needed saved us hours of research and comparison time.

Cons

The only issue is that the software can't make decisions for us but having five choices definitely helps simplify things.

Simply the BEST

Pros

First off the AMO support team is amazing as they are quick to reply and always thorough. Also the software itself is pretty easy to learn and works great right out of the gate. It is packed with features and I especially like the custom fields for tracking info unique to our organization. Plus they do a great job of keeping things updated at a pace that makes sense without overwhelming us.

Cons

Best results when used properly

Pros

AMO does its job well when it is set up in the right environment. Plus their team is responsive and willing to accommodate whatever our organization needs.

Cons

Making changes or customizations is tough to do alone as we really need outside help to re-engineer anything.
