As an admin, I found the Eventee app very simple to use and set up. It significantly helped in managing the YAS 2024 Event by keeping attendee information organized and accessible. The price and quality of the product were worth it!

Cons

Sponsors play a crucial role in events, but I think they should be given more visibility on both the app and the event website created with Eventee.

We used Eventee in Talent Land, one of Mexico's largest events focused on science, tech and innovation, to manage conferences, meetings, and video calls. The platform was easy to use and implement, helping participants organize their activities smoothly.

The platform probably crashed due to the large number of participants trying to join different meetings at the same time. So the event had to change the logistics for entering the conferences. I think that's something that needs to be fixed.

The app is not only visually appealing but also user-friendly, I was able to set it up easily. It is a great tool for any type of event, whether virtual or in-person.

It would be nice to have a way to add more attendees to my plan without upgrading the whole plan if one of our events exceeds your current plan limits, this is just a small suggestion.

It adds a professional touch to our events, aids in organizing thoughts and planning around the event schedule, and allows me to message attendees while maintaining privacy. It also integrates well with attendee registration apps.

The app and website aren't friendly for screen readers, which is an issue for visually impaired users. The website's time zones don't match the user's time zone and YT videos autoplay on the event webpage when you click the menu button. Also there's a bug with social buttons for speakers who don't have profiles listed on those platforms. The built-in attendee registration is quite basic.

Eventee made it easy for us to transition to virtual events when the pandemic struck!

Love how user-friendly Eventee is, and they continually add new features. It integrates smoothly with my current tools, making execution effortless. I also appreciate being able to update the website independently of the app without any coding. It's a fantastic tool for agencies managing multiple clients, allowing for specific admin access to individual events.

Eventee has great polling features for session interactions but there's no option for audience-wide polling. Polls need to be tied to a session or linked externally.

I really like the flexibility to create multiple 'tracks' for virtual events. The program easily adapts to necessary changes. The 'News' feed is helpful for communicating last-minute updates and highlights within the event. The timeline view allows for clear scheduling across multiple rooms to avoid overlaps. Multiple admin roles help distribute responsibilities effectively.

There's no CNAME for the website. Eventee seems to be updating their site, which should lead to improvements. Their roadmap indicates that some of my concerns will be addressed this year. I'm looking forward to features like ticketing and streaming that they currently lack. They also can't support multi-level tickets yet, meaning if your ticketing service offers multiple levels, users must sign up for separate events, leading to multiple tickets for one event.

Pros

I introduced Eventee to our team right before a large virtual event. They managed to set up most features in just a couple of days and any delays were due to missing information from presenters. Eventee covers most of our needs, their support is quick and helpful and they're open to feature suggestions.

Cons

You have to choose a physical location for the event or not show any location at all. For virtual events, it would be better to display a time zone on the event homepage. Also, it would be nice to link to any URL for the stream instead of being limited to a few streaming platforms. We used a redirect for session access, so we couldn't link the agenda to our streams directly.

Pros

The ease of navigating the interface and quickly setting up events were key factors in my decision to choose Eventee. While there's always room for improvement, the team has clearly put thought into making the process intuitive and efficient.

Like any app in a crowded market, I hope to see more integrations with other apps. It's no longer just about using one or two apps, improving integration with others is crucial for staying relevant. Eventee is making progress and I look forward to seeing more enhancements.
