Setting up polls and questions with this software feels very user-friendly to me and it doesn't take much effort to get started. It's an excellent way to keep learners involved and engaged.

Cons

Getting in touch with customer support by phone is really difficult, so resolving a technical issue can end up taking quite a while.

One thing that really helped was how simple it was to keep students engaged in real time. The variety of activity types was especially useful because it let me check understanding quickly and get everyone involved, even in large lecture halls.

The reporting tools are powerful but I do wish the export options were a little more customizable right out of the box. That would make post-session analysis more efficient.

Since I only needed it for a single event, being forced to pay for a full year was really frustrating. It would have made much more sense to offer shorter subscription options, like a monthly plan. I'll definitely be warning my colleagues and students at the university about this app because it's far too expensive for a one-time event.

During a theater event, I needed a way to ask the audience a question live and let everyone instantly see how the group responded. It handled that real-time poll exactly the way I wanted and worked well for that kind of audience interaction.

As an interactive polling tool for presentations or live events, the product itself is great. I used it at a film screening to get the audience involved and it did what it was supposed to do. That said, even though the platform is decent, the customer support and company policies were extremely frustrating and left a bad impression.

Being an early adopter, I started using this when text-in polling was still fairly new and it has been incredibly useful on our college campus. I've relied on it for all kinds of situations, from letting students text in votes during a talent show to polling an audience during presentations for incoming students. The connection with presentation software is convenient, so adding polls directly into a slide deck feels very natural. It's also simple for audiences to participate, even when they've never used the tool before. On top of that, the real-time polling gives instant feedback which makes it easy to understand what the audience is thinking in the moment.

There really isn't much to complain about. If anything, the pricing structure could use some improvement, though it's a fairly minor issue overall. The one change I'd most like to see is a lower-cost option for one-time events.

Even though I'm usually pretty comfortable with technology, I was frustrated that the free version's features were not as easy to figure out as they are in similar tools. I also think it would be much better if participants could scan a QR code instead of needing to text.

The live poll competition feature has worked really well for me and I also like the variety of response options available.

Cons

Getting participants into the poll and helping them use the app can be a challenge. People often seem confused and need extra time to join. It's also frustrating that I can't easily moderate competitions from my app and participants aren't able to view the leaderboard between questions on their side.

Where it falls short is in the visual and audio side of things. If it were as polished, engaging and fun to watch and listen to as Kahoot, with music and similar effects, it would be close to perfect.

One downside is that the polls become inactive after some time, so whenever I teach the class again, I have to go back in and reactivate the polls I plan to use that semester. That might just be a limitation of the free version, though.
