“Closing work orders and uploading photos works fine”
Pros
Coming from spreadsheets and email, Maintenance Connection did feel like an upgrade as our first facilities management software. That said, at this price point, it was tough to work through and in the end some of our staff stopped using it altogether because it was so hard to navigate.
Cons
Overall, Maintenance Connection's UI and UX are overly complicated and difficult to move around in. On top of that, when pulling reports, the system often shows wildly different numbers for the same data which makes it hard to trust.

“Fleet vehicle history is very useful for tracking”
Pros
Managing tasks has been a good experience overall. Closing out work orders once the job is finished is easy and uploading photos is simple as well.
Cons
At times, it runs slowly and I have to reload it again. The connection also drops occasionally and sometimes the network gets lost.

“Basic functions are friendly but advanced use gets tricky”
Pros
It's been really useful for submitting what's needed for the fleet program and keeping everything organized. The history feature also helps a lot because I can see what happened with the vehicles before they came into our program.
Cons
A negative part I don't enjoy is the user interface. At times, it's not convenient to return to the previous window and I have to go all the way back to the home page instead.

“Gets easier the more you use it”
Pros
At a basic technician level, the software is fairly user-friendly but once you move into more advanced functions, it gets noticeably harder to navigate. The more time I spend with it and the better I understand what it can do, the easier it becomes to use overall.
Cons
The naming conventions are not clearly defined which adds confusion. There are also some frustrating gaps in the learning curve that make it difficult to locate what you need and the help resources do not always provide a working solution.

“PO tools keep things organized”
Pros
Keeping up with maintenance tasks is much more organized here and the PO entry and tracking tools help a lot with day-to-day work. I also appreciate how work orders are automatically routed to the right personnel for completion which saves time and keeps things moving.
Cons
Adding new PO items into inventory can be tedious because it involves a lot of repetitive typing and data entry. A clone or copy feature would make that process much faster and cut down on duplicate work.

“Lag and glitches appear”
Pros
Anyone shopping for a system like this should definitely consider Maintenance Connect. The clear, user-friendly design is something I genuinely enjoy and would recommend to other companies.
Cons
Sometimes it gets pretty glitchy if you move through it too quickly and it tends to buffer more than it should when a lot of users are on the system at once.

“Works but needs improvements”
Pros
It's been alright overall though I've worked with other systems where getting to certain features and functions felt more accessible. I'd really appreciate a clearer breakdown of how to use the program and better ways to customize it to fit our needs.
Cons
There are definitely parts of it that feel annoying and I wish it had more versatility. Some features are simple enough to locate and use but I'd still like an easier way to add different users for W/O traceability, along with the option to use a scanner for parts inventory.

“lacks needed customization options”
Pros
I have been a user for more than eight years, I know the day-to-day workflows inside and out. Whenever something comes up that I do not know how to handle, the customer service team responds quickly with an answer or just fixes it remotely for us. That alone is a big reason I wanted to leave a review. Accruent has clearly put real effort into customer support. It was already stable before and over the last year or two it has become even better. Keep up the good work.
Cons
Setting up labor and users can be tedious since you have to move through several layers of the software to assign the right permissions. Updates also come up often and they sometimes require clearing the cache and browser history before the program works properly again. The global search for inventory or asset details could also be better. I wish it handled one-word searches more precisely because the current search behavior can make it harder to find the right result quickly.

“support does not leave your side”
Pros
After using MC for years as both a user and an admin, I'd say it's a dependable system overall. It does its job well most of the time even though it isn't as user friendly as it could be. A few bugs still pop up here and there that I'd love to see cleaned up but despite that, it's still a well built tool with plenty of potential to get even better.
Cons
One area that really needs improvement is bulk work order management. There are plenty of situations where we need to assign large batches of work orders to one person across several specific dates or issue multiple work orders at once and the current setup makes that very tedious. In most cases, edits have to be done one by one which takes far too much time. More flexibility around mass editing would make a big difference. Export options would also be a major plus especially across different user access levels. Being able to export asset lists or work orders into a CSV file depending on permission level would be extremely valuable for our business.

“Dependable overall some areas need improvement”
Pros
Right from the first time I used Maintenance Connection, it has consistently shown how effective it is especially when it comes to pulling and retrieving data efficiently.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints. It does exactly what it's meant to do, covers what we need and has turned out to be a perfect fit for my organization.

“Performance has been strong”
Pros
Being a user has been a very positive experience overall and the mobile usability on an operator's phone has been especially valuable for our facility. We store all of our maintenance documents and equipment manuals in MC which gives technicians access to what they need even when they are working in remote areas.
Cons
A frustration is the website navigation. If you open an asset and drill down through several levels, going back makes you repeat the whole path again. On top of that, using the browser's back button takes you all the way back to the login page.

“Mobile use in the field has been highly valuable”
Pros
Using Maintenance Connection has been a really positive experience overall. It's been very helpful for our team and does a great job of keeping the office organized, under control and consistently prepared for service.
Cons
Maintenance Connection offers plenty of benefits but the part I'm least satisfied with is the issue reporting process since it can sometimes take a bit longer than I'd like.

Pros
Everything about it has been really reliable. It's simple to keep track of my daily tasks and the workflow makes getting things done feel very smooth.

Dark mode option is still missing. It also really needs an iPhone app and having the ability to use it offline would make it even better.

“Dark mode and offline access missing”
Pros
I have been using this software and it has been a really positive experience overall. I can usually figure out a way to accomplish whatever I need and it offers a huge range of features along with multiple ways to handle a lot of tasks.
Cons
Report creation can be a bit challenging but the drill-down capabilities are strong and give you an impressive level of detail for just about any report. I also use AI to summarize a lot of reports.

Pros
Getting started with it took almost no effort because it was very easy to learn and felt quite clear right away. The features are excellent and the layout is set up perfectly.
Cons

“PM automation is hard to configure”
Pros
Trying to automate PMs hasn't been very easy to grasp. I also can't really control when they begin versus the target date for a specific PM which makes it hard to track KPIs accurately.
Cons
Using the system doesn't feel very instinctive overall. Some basic functions are tucked away in categories that don't make much sense and the interface doesn't feel very strong. Setting up PMs which should be one of the core uses of a product like this, is harder than it should be and not very manageable.

“Filters help me stay on track”
Pros
Maintenance Connect has been a big help for keeping my tasks organized. Being able to filter by date and sort everything by priority makes it much easier to stay on top of what needs to be done.
Cons
I had instances when my work orders seemed to take a while to reach me although that may have been more related to the organizational changes we were going through.
