“Per-user licensing drains budgets very quickly”

Pros

It gives us a way to manage multiple rooms and venues and everyone across the organisation can see the events.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost. It uses a per-user licensing model which is a very effective way to drain the budget. Reporting is another frustration: every report comes out in RTF format which is basically useless for our needs so we end up spending far too much time and effort converting them into something practical.

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how customizable Artifax is. Anytime I come up with an idea for a custom report or tracker, the system can usually accommodate it. The developers are also extremely passionate and know the platform inside and out and that really comes through whenever I submit requests.

Cons

A slight negative is that it is not naturally approachable. I hear this quite often from our staff. People do need a basic understanding of key terms along with some familiarity with the navigation before they can use it comfortably.
