“Support provided was absolutely useless”

Pros

The interface is clean and easy to use so even non technical staff can pick it up quickly. The visitor badges it prints also have a polished and professional look.

Cons

Getting help from support has been frustrating every single time I've contacted them, with agents sometimes taking several days just to reply. The software and Windows service Raptor relies on to connect with the ID printer and scanner are extremely unreliable and unstable. They also recently had a problem that stopped ID photos from printing on visitor badges and support took months to finally resolve it.

Switching to this has made handling visitor management far more manageable and it gives us reliable tracking and auditing that actually adds value.

Cons

The toughest part wasn't the system itself but helping users and visitors understand why moving away from the old paper sign in sheet to a real visitor management system was necessary.

Pros

Using this system was very simple and it gave us a fast, manageable way to screen and monitor visitors across our campus.

Cons

Looks quite outdated and would benefit from updates to its reporting, user management and overall portal presentation.

It is fully automated which makes it an efficient and convenient way to keep our school building safe and well organized.

Cons

At times, the site lags or buffers and the visitor details that appear after scanning an ID are not always as accurate as they should be.

After everything was configured, visitors were able to check in with their IDs without any hassle. It noticeably improved security across our school environment.

Cons

Occasionally, the card readers would stop working but unplugging them and restarting usually fixed the issue.

Very user friendly and flexible which has been a big plus. I also really appreciate how the platform keeps evolving and adding features to match changing needs over time.

Cons

Setup could use better documentation especially for someone using it for the first time. Also, the stand alone devices don't offer the same level of management you'd have with a Windows PC.

Getting started didnt take long and the system makes it clear what steps to take. It's simple to follow and doesn't take long to learn how to use it properly.

One issue comes up when we sign a student out early for things like doctor's appointments or family emergencies. In those moments, we sometimes forget to ask the parent for their ID because the student is being signed out first. By the time the ID request appears at the very end of the process, the parent may have already left with the student which means we no longer have their ID information on file.

The system is very user friendly and the networking setup works well.

Cons

Testing parameters for identifying committed felons doesnt feel complete since the full profile doesn't appear to be taken into account thoroughly.

“Gets the job done”

Pros

Didnt take long before employees got comfortable and started using this. It also makes it simple to pull historical visitor records by date, location or specific person. The volunteer tab is especially helpful because operators can quickly identify people who were already pre approved as volunteers. Another useful feature is being able to refresh a visitor's photo whenever their ID image changes.

Cons

A limitation is that a contractor's photo can't be updated without creating an entirely new profile.

“reliable visitor management win”

Pros

This platform has done exactly what it promised from the start. Getting in touch with someone at the company and seeing a demo was very easy and the buying process went off without any issues. Their customer support was outstanding especially in the first couple of years when we were still getting used to the system. Most of the problems we ran into were really just part of our own learning curve but the support team was always patient, kind and ready to help us troubleshoot. At this point, we hardly ever need to contact them because our staff is fully trained and very comfortable with the software. Even the technical side has been simple to manage, from scanning, printing and logging visitors to loading labels and setting up the software. It has been an excellent product for us.

I really don't have any complaints. Our district has been very pleased with the product.

Getting started with this software is very simple. The layout of the processes makes sense and its super user friendly. New employees are able to learn it quickly and use it without any trouble.

Cons

Something I'd still like to see is a way to purge inactive user accounts or at least have the option to hide them from search results.

Across our school district, this has become an essential part of daily operations in more than 200 schools and offices. The system is very simple to use and plays a major role in helping us protect over 130,000 students and around 20,000 employees. One thing I've been particularly happy with is the customer service and technical support. Since we have so many users district wide, having their support team work directly with our staff has been a huge help. Their tech team can even remotely access computers on our network to assist users who can't fix an issue through phone instructions alone. Because of that, they're able to solve 99% of reported technical problems within minutes. They've also been very responsive when it comes to customizing features and functionality and I'm sure those improvements have benefited other customers as well.

Cons

there really aren't any features that come to mind that I dislike.

Having reports and records built in has been really valuable for tracking. It's helpful to see exactly who is coming in and out of our campus and keep a clear log for reference.

Cons

One problem that comes up from time to time is the search when we're trying to find the right person and place them under the correct category, whether that's visitor, contractor or staff.

Pros

After getting this software up and running, using it is incredibly simple. You just slide in an ID and it pulls in all the necessary information while also saving it for the next visit. Returning visitors are quick to locate by typing the first few letters of their name. It prints badges fast so guests can check in and head on their way without delay.

Cons

The software feel pretty close to perfect. I did run into a small issue during setup but it was most likely user error on my part and when I reached out to the help desk, they resolved it within a minute.

“Keeps track of everything”

Pros

Being able to keep track of everyone coming into the building is a huge plus especially when student safety is the priority. It's also incredibly valuable during safety drills since tracking students in real time is one of the biggest reasons schools and educators should be using this app.

Cons

Overall, the app is excellent. The way some of the features connect and flow together could be a little more polished.
