“Smooth workflow”

Pros

One thing that really makes this software stand out is the excellent support. The interface is easy to use, the smartphone app is very practical and the whole idea with the location and device stickers is well thought out. The user interface is clearly organized and the software responds quickly so working with large amounts of data still feels fluid. It's also a big plus that customer requests are actually taken into account when the tool is further developed.

Cons

One thing that is still missing is a conditional device model selection. At the moment, after choosing a manufacturer, you can still select any model or type without a matching filter. That feature is apparently planned but it is not available yet.

For the way we use it we haven't run into any drawbacks at all.

“better than Excel for visuals”

Pros

Compared with Excel a big advantage is being able to upload photos and keep a history of changes.

Cons

At times it feels a little slow. I also wish the lines were a bit thinner and that I could view more objects at the same time.

“Quick response time by support team”

Pros

Something that really convinced me is how incredibly fast the support team responds to questions. They are always friendly, very open to customization requests and willing to make the software even easier to work with. There are plenty of ways to adapt the inventory system to a company's specific setup and circumstances. In our case, different locations and temporary construction offices are handled without any issues. After capturing just a few new assets with the mobile app, the whole inventory process actually became enjoyable and motivated me to keep going. Requests for adjustments are taken seriously and implemented as quickly as possible. The follow up work on the computer is easy to understand. I can clearly recommend seventhings! :)

Cons

Scanning serial numbers in the app is still quite difficult and similar looking letters and numbers are misread too often. That said, a solution is already being worked on since QR code scanning is supposed to become available again. Changes to the desktop application's display, such as adjustable column widths, are also already in progress.
