“tracking data is convenient”

Pros

Submitting claims and handling workers' comp was easy and tracking the data was very convenient. I used it for several years and would definitely recommend it.

Cons

The interface wasn't the most user friendly although training was available to help. Whenever I needed assistance, customer service was excellent.

“reliable reporting”

Pros

Not once did I run into software problems with this program. It was simple to use and worked really well for detailed medical reporting. It was also excellent for tracking reports and trends and I really appreciated being able to generate pie charts for injuries.

Cons

I honestly don't have any real complaints about this software. The only thing I'd want added is an option to remove certain information when an incident report needs to be printed.

Pros

The speed this platform has when it comes to handling incidents is a big plus.

Cons

It can feel a bit heavy as software at times but aside from that, it works really well for everyday use.

Pros

One thing that has really been valuable is how clearly the software highlights the statistics and trends behind incidents which has made report creation much quicker. It's user friendly, runs without many problems during day to day use and has helped transform our safety protocols and recordkeeping by keeping everything stored securely in one place.

Cons

Up to this point, we really haven't run into any major problems with the software.

“user friendly with rich insights”

Pros

Using this in a school setting worked really well because the platform is very user friendly and the level of detail in the data is impressive. It keeps the information manageable while still offering enough depth to make the insights genuinely useful.

Cons

There are not many downsides to Vector as a management service for schools which is the environment where I used it. The cost was fairly high but in the end, I am not sure you would find a less expensive option that still delivers a strong interface and gathers data this effectively.

“useful alerts”

Pros

It's really valuable that management can enter the initial report directly and attach supporting documents right there in the system. They no longer have to print a report, fill it out by hand, scan it and send it over. As soon as the report is submitted, an alert goes out to the person managing the claims process along with any other designated managers who need to be notified.

Cons

A few of the labels can be misleading. For example, the indicator showing something as OSHA recordable should go away if the claim is later denied or determined not to be work related after all.

“flexible form options”

Pros

Being able to customize nearly every form to match the way we operate has been the biggest advantage. Our company combines several different business types so finding software that actually fits is usually a challenge. Because of that flexibility, this system has worked well for us without requiring much extra effort. I also appreciate that the OSHA and DOT forms are generated automatically which makes reporting much more manageable and far less complicated.

Cons

The reporting area can be a little confusing to navigate at times. Even though I really value being able to run reports on all fields, it would still be useful to have a few more basic built in report options available. I'd also love to see more written tutorials focused specifically on using the reporting section. Another improvement would be adding multi select fields to forms so even more relevant data can be captured when needed.

“strong HSE management toolkit”

Pros

Vector EHS is a solid software package that covers the standard HSE management essentials really well. One feature that stands out is the Industrial Hygiene module which isn't something you commonly see included in other platforms. The task and event scheduling tools also do a good job of helping the HSE team stay organized and on track. Implementation was quick too.

Cons

Whats missing is a visual view of the risk assessment process. The metric dashboards also aren't very simple to customize and the notifications could use some cleanup. It would also be better if SDS Management were included.

“an essential for safety culture”

Pros

It has been very easy to use and it plays a key role in helping us build and support our safety culture.

Cons

Something that could be better is importing hours from our payroll system. I'd love to see that process work a little quicker.

The platform is simple to use and the dashboard does a good job of helping us stay on top of our investigations.

Cons

Its reporting feature could use improvement since the graphics feel pretty basic. Our internal metrics tools give us better visuals for tracking and reporting key metrics.

Pros

Using this software has been going great because the functionality is laid out in a way that just makes sense. The steps are user friendly and it's simple to teach someone else how to use it without much effort.

Cons

One thing that has been disappointing is that a Division can only be assigned to one person.
