Pros

Compared with other platforms, this feels practically made for real estate and offers a high level of customization. It gives us the flexibility to organize and analyze our properties in ways that fit our needs as they change and having access to real time data is a big advantage. We can pull reports every day and trust that the information is current, without having to wait around for updates.

Cons

Like the industry it serves, it is still developing and evolving so there are occasional growing pains along the way. That said, the team is clearly committed to improving the platform solving issues and continuing to innovate as they go.

“Powerful energy monitoring tools”

Pros

With WatchWire handling our data uploads and organization so effectively, we can build custom KPIs and make good use of the integrations to monitor energy consumption, set up alerts and generate reports in a very efficient way.

Cons

A few of the built in reports are less user friendly than I'd prefer.

Pros

Their implementation team handled the rollout professionally and was very open to adapting the platform to our specific requirements. It also connects with a wide range of data sources which made integration much more practical for us. On top of that the AI driven metrics are genuinely useful for tracking and managing emissions.

Cons

The visualization side feels a bit dated and would be much better with a more modern set of tools.

Working with the staff was a really positive part of the experience and once you get familiar with how everything works, the software becomes very user friendly.

Cons

Getting everything set up took some time before it was running the way it should and a few issues came up here and there while using the software. Still, whenever something needed attention, it was resolved quickly.

Pros

Having the billing database and audit features available in one place is really helpful especially in a more advanced and organized way. This platform has played a major role in supporting my organization and helping the team stay on top of things. It also makes energy management much easier to handle.

Cons

Navigating the interface can be fairly complex especially when moving between different or multiple sites. It would also be better if additional power related data sets could be added to the platform.

“solid reporting”

Pros

Getting around this software doesnt take much effort and the variety of on demand reports adds a lot of value. The financial information WatchWire pulls together makes it much easier to understand property operations and spot opportunities for improvement. I also appreciate being able to make manual adjustments in the platform and approve invoices that failed audits. Another really useful feature is the ability to sync with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager whenever needed.

Cons

I'd still like to see more calendarization options across the different reports. It would also be useful to have a normalization feature based on building occupancy after those occupants have been entered into WatchWire as a KPI.

“clearer look into our data”

Pros

It gave us a much better view of our data and helped tighten up our overall oversight. In the first year alone, it saved us around $60,000 which made a real difference. On top of that we're genuinely big fans of the team behind the platform.

Cons

The only small challenge was getting WatchWire integrated with our other systems. That part took some effort at the beginning but once it was set up, things became much more manageable.

The depth of this software has been the biggest win for us. I was part of the team that selected WatchWire and we're now expanding it across multiple areas of the organization, as well as to some of our direct customers and suppliers. Another standout benefit is how broadly the platform connects with sustainability databases, accounting systems and metering devices.

Cons

Since my company works in electrical system manufacturing, power quality information matters a lot to us. I'd really like to see WatchWire continue to grow in this area by adding more power focused data sets, such as current, voltage and similar metrics.

Pros

It fits our size and requirements really well and the platform delivers exactly what it promises. It has helped us save both time and money.

Cons

At this point, we're satisfied with the platform overall. If anything comes up later that feels worth mentioning, I'd be happy to share an update.

Pros

Right from the start, WatchWire feels like a complete energy management platform. It's very user friendly and well organized yet it still includes all the advanced functionality you'd want, from data APIs to efficiency and renewable project M&V, budgeting and bill simulation.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about EnergyWatch!
