“Works well, wish it was different

Pros

Once it's set up, it runs pretty smoothly! I also like that it's a web-based application.

Cons

If I had one wish, I'd want IFS to be either a SQL-based or an Oracle-based product.

“Good for data, bad for search

Pros

I really like its ability to capture data and keep historical records.

Cons

The most trouble I had was searching for past data. Once I got more experience, it got easier.

Pros

It includes everything from the first opportunity with a customer to delivering the product. If you implement it right, you don't need any outside programs to run your whole business.

Cons

It's not always user-friendly. Too often, if you don't have deep knowledge of the area you're working in, you don't know how to solve problems because you can't find where the missing or invalid data is.

Pros

It's user-friendly and when you need help, they're there for you.

Cons

There's nothing I don't like about the product. It's easy to use.

“A fairly simple product

Pros

We have a very good relationship with the vendor. I really enjoy the various user group meetings they hold. And the product itself is fairly simple.

Cons

Our original implementation was rough. I don't think the consultants really understood what we needed to help us move to our first ERP system.
