Modern solutions for traffic management

Pros

I like the close relationship we have with our Mobile Team Manager. We often send over minor issues and the MTM addresses them quickly or comes up with equally effective solutions.

Cons

It still has a few awkward features but they are gradually being addressed. I mean it just takes some time to identify them and figure out how to work around them.

Responsive support and practical fixes

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how closely we're able to work with Mobile Team Manager. Whenever we send over smaller issues, the MTM team listens, picks them up quickly and either fixes them fast or offers an alternative solution that works just as well.

Cons

A few features can still feel a bit buggy. They are gradually being improved but it can take some time to notice where those rough spots are and figure out the best way to work around them.

Helps reduce paper use

Pros

It's a paperless system that allows quick changes on the go, providing the flexibility our industry needs.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the setup process is quite detailed and requires people with a good level of computer literacy to generate the necessary requirements.

paperless flexibility that delivers

Pros

A big advantage is that it keeps everything paperless and we can make updates while on the go which is exactly the kind of flexibility our industry needs.

Cons

Getting everything set up is quite involved and it takes people with solid computer skills to put together the requirements properly.

Mobile access is a huge time-saver

Pros

I love that I can use the app on my phone and it's so convenient to have it easily accessible at the end of the day to sign off saving me valuable time.

Cons

Sometimes a server issue can cause delays but it is not related to the software itself.

It's built for team sharing!

Pros

It is very easy to share the necessary information with my team quickly and set things up.

Cons

The app occasionally freezes and setting up some sections was quite tricky than my expectations.

Handy sign-off on mobile

Pros

Having the app on my phone is really convenient especially at the end of the day when I can keep it close by and sign off quickly. It saves me time and makes the whole process more practical.

Cons

A server issue can slow things down but that is not actually caused by the software itself.

Save our precious time

Pros

It has saved us a lot of time with scheduling, going paperless, sending training and induction notifications, managing registration and calibration reminders and using drag and drop scheduling for staff, assets and contractors.

Saves time and paper but sometimes glitchy

Pros

MTM has saved a lot of time by making shift information more accessible and it is also helpful for getting a clear location of the job site, which makes commuting much easier. I also like that it eliminates paper, which I believe is good for the environment. Plus being able to contact anyone in the company whenever needed has been incredibly useful.

Cons

It sometimes crashes, preventing you from accepting shifts or even viewing the allocations. Plus being an online platform it can be cumbersome to use in areas with poor reception. Another downside is that it can sometimes forget details like signatures and other information on paperwork meaning users have to re-enter the data.

The greatest invention so far

Pros

Using it has been a game-changer for me. Initially I was hesitant to replace our traditional whiteboard and systems that I had used for years. However once it showed me how simple it is to use and the benefits it offers, it is significantly reduced my allocation time, saved money on fuel, tolls and printing costs.

Cons

There is not much to complain about as I am just looking forward to the upcoming updates.

Our staff get job details digitally but a little digitally

Pros

It is great that my staff now have job details on their phones and everything is confirmed through the system.

Cons

I can only assign one team leader per job although I can allocate as many traffic controllers as needed which is a bit limiting.

Staff updates work really well

Pros

My staff can see all the job details right on their phones and everything gets confirmed through the system which has been really useful.

One limitation is that I can only assign one team leader to each job even though the system lets me add as many traffic controllers as I want.

quick shifts and site access

Pros

Having MTM has saved me a lot of time when I need to check shift information and it also gives a good location for the job site which makes getting to and from work much easier. I also appreciate that MTM has replaced paper forms and I feel that is better for the environment. On top of that, being able to contact anyone in the company through the app has been helpful on many occasions.

Cons

From time to time it crashes which means you cannot accept shifts or even see your allocations. Since it is an online app, it can also be frustrating to use in places with weak reception. Another issue is that it can be a little forgetful, as signatures and other information on paperwork sometimes vanish which means forms have to be filled in again.

Time-saving dispatch boost

Pros

Switching away from our whiteboard and long-standing systems had me pretty nervous at first since we'd relied on them for years. After the MTM team walked me through the software and showed how simple it is to use, the benefits became obvious. It has cut my allocation time in half and also reduced costs on fuel, tolls and printing. Honestly I only wish something like this had been available much earlier.

Cons

There's not really much to complain about at this stage.. I'm mostly just looking forward to the upcoming updates.

convenient team management on mobile

Pros

Getting around the app is simple and it's very convenient to use.

Cons

The downside is that I have to refresh it often to see updates and if I don't have mobile data, using it becomes pretty difficult.

Faster crew planning

Pros

After we switched to this tool, it helped our company go paperless and as an operations manager it has nearly cut the time I spend assigning crews in half. That has freed up a lot more time for me to focus on other parts of the job.

Cons

At times the app can run a little slowly but that seems to be more of an internet or connection issue which is fairly normal depending on the location. I've used other field management apps as well and they had the same problem.
