“A nightmare to use
Pros
There are no benefits to using this app. I definitely would not recommend it.
Cons
This app keeps connecting to the beacons when you are nearby even if you are just sitting still in an office. It locks your phone when you are stationary which seems unnecessary. Also it blocks all notifications so you won't know when you stop. Once I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card which I only found out about through a notification. If the app had been active I would not have known about it in time and would have lost thousands of dollars. So it is great to block calls while driving but it should stop there. If it locks the phone even once while stationary it's a fail.

“They totally failed us
Pros
It worked fine during the years we had access to it but now we are no longer allowed to use it.
Cons
Well it feels weird and not very user friendly to me and I think it could definitely use some improvements.

“Bad, Bad, just Bad
Pros
I cannot think of any positive aspects for this app or the device.
Cons
Where do I even begin? It crashes my UI every day, does not always turn on and has permissions to record audio, take videos and edit my contacts. There are so many privacy concerns with this app as it feels like an invasion.

“Pretty nice tool
Pros
The software does exactly what it's supposed to as it blocks phone use while driving and to improve accuracy and reporting, we added the hardware trigger. It works almost too well and I was surprised at how often I reached for my phone while driving, only to be reminded by Cell Control that it is unsafe. This app is really improving our work culture and I would definitely recommend it.
Cons
I do not have many complaints about the software, but one issue is the number of manual steps needed to enable phone access for the app to function properly. Sometimes it requires 7 to 8 steps for it to work. We had to write out detailed instructions for our employees to make sure they installed it correctly.

As with any tech some of our team members need to replace their units batteries and will need to plug them in from time to time.

“Has everything but it's pricey
Pros
One thing I like about it is that it can block both phones and laptops. Overall it somewhat serves its purpose by eliminating distractions while driving.
Cons
They discontinued the OBDII product, leaving us stuck with a much more expensive recurring contract. Support took months to fix an issue with repetitive alerts. Also the web portal is frequently updated but feels clunky and it requires constant maintenance. There are other solutions out there that do parts of what it does and they do it better.

“Difficult to handle
Pros
I like the idea behind it but if you don't have a company phone with no other MDM software, it is difficult to manage. There are also multiple steps involved.
Cons
The maintenance process is overly complicated and I noticed that assigning triggers, managing users and sending SMS for acceptance all require too much effort.
