“Need to improve and innovate
Pros
There's a lot of features but honestly, it's tough to use and hard to find what you need. Without being more user-friendly, these features don't really shine. However, the way it tracks tires and handles them separately from parts is pretty cool. It works really well for a big shop, like ours with 15 bays.
Cons
Honestly, It is not user-friendly at all. We struggle a lot trying to figure out how to use the features on the website. also reports take forever to run. They really need to change how reports work.

“Super helpful
Pros
I found it super handy, especially when I needed it most. It was easy to use and saved me a lot of time.
Cons
The software itself is great but customer service could use some improvement. That said, you can't beat this product overall.

“Simple and efficient
Pros
It was quick and easy to get several responses. The customer service rep was really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience much better.
Cons
Some of the vendors were a bit too persistent. I was told to get quotes but then my supervisor put it on the back burner, so nothing really came of it.

“Everyone on the team likes it
Pros
Record-keeping is so much simpler now. I really love the payroll feature. plus being able to track returned products is a game-changer, it saves us money since it tracks who returned it, when and why.
Cons
Setting up forms is a pain. There should be way better training when you first get the program. The manuals that came with the software weren't helpful at all.

“Great product
Pros
I really like how I can drop parts directly into an invoice from Worldpac and NAPA. The scheduling feature is also super helpful. And the license plate to VIN decoder is such a useful tool!
Cons
There are glitches when dropping parts from Worldpac and NAPA onto invoices. The items end up on the top line instead of the bottom and the manufacturer code gets added to part numbers when ordering from Worldpac. I've asked about this a bunch of times, but nothing gets fixed. also when ordering multiple parts from NAPA, it creates multiple invoices and the NAPA interface is super slow compared to Worldpac.

“Solid product, but the service quality varies
Pros
I've found that front counter sales are super easy to teach and salespeople pick it up quickly. The reports for hours billed are really helpful and the billing process at the end of the month is pretty simple for me.
Cons
I had a problem with misspelled words in the year/make/model field. I called in and they said there was no fix but then I called again and a new person fixed it right away. Pretty frustrating.

“System feels outdated
Pros
I love how the repair orders look and the inventory is mostly organized. The employee efficiency tracking is really useful and the kits are easy enough to use. It's been great for us!
Cons
It feels like It is way behind compared to newer systems. The updates are really slow and I'm never informed when they're available, even though we're paying monthly for system repairs and service.

“Good tool
Pros
The tiered pricing and markup features are awesome! I can rely on billing and invoicing every day without issues and the vehicle history lookup is a must-have for me. It's been a real time-saver.
Cons
Running reports is a headache. also the training on YouTube could be better. The interface with other software, like QuickBooks, is a pain too, we have to use a separate server for that.

“Great solution
Pros
It's packed with great features that you just don't get with the bigger software vendors. I also really love how they customize invoices for me and their customer service is always top-notch. plus the customized reports are a huge bonus!
Cons
The program can be glitchy at times but it's still better than some other software I've used. It does take a lot of time to set up, though. I wish email marketing could be automated instead of having to do it manually.

“Really helpful
Pros
It really speeds up our processes, making everything quick and slick. It's just a well-rounded system for us.
Cons
In the past, some really useful options were removed during upgrades. These were options we used behind the scenes to help our business run better. For example, I couldn't export invoice numbers to QuickBooks when I first started using the software. After a bit of trial and error, I found a workaround by adding a symbol to the invoice number. It's funny, though because I was told it wasn't possible but then a week later, an update added the ability to do that. We buy software and computers to work for us not the other way around.

“Seems like they're behind on current trends
Pros
It's super easy to learn and use. The commands make sense and creating reports isn't too complicated. plus getting marketing info is easy to access.
Cons
There's no digital inspection feature and it doesn't interface with other digital inspection systems. To make any changes to our output info, we need support and purging old data isn't even possible anymore.

“Super easy to use
Pros
It is so easy to use and I love how it integrates with other auto software like Alldata and parts houses like NAPA. It saves me from having to toggle between a bunch of websites for info.
Cons
Making changes in setup can be a real pain. For example, putting together job packages needs to be more user-friendly. I'm pretty tech-savvy but I still run into trouble with this from time to time.

“Good product overall
Pros
I was able to set up matrix pricing and bring in old data from our previous system. The ability to use multiple labor rates is really useful too. Overall, the support has been great.
Cons
Sometimes, account names in the software don't transfer correctly to QuickBooks. The online training could definitely be more interactive and helpful too.

“Best out there
Pros
The invoicing and customer records part of the software make managing my customers so much easier than keeping everything on paper. I love this feature.
Cons
Some of the advanced features are tough to figure out and navigate on my own. I end up needing to call customer support for help quite a bit.

“Top system for the cost
Pros
The YES system is packed with features. Honestly, it's probably the most comprehensive system I've ever used. I've tried a lot of others but this one's got it all.
Cons
Every time there's an update, it seems like a new problem pops up that wasn't there before. Resolving those issues can take some time.

“Excellent software!
Pros
When I started at our shop, it was really easy to learn. The training videos were super helpful. The customer service has also been fantastic, whenever I've had an issue, it's been fixed quickly.
Cons
The only real issue I have is that I can't use Norton Security. Everything else is just small issues that usually get resolved quickly.

“Tough to learn
Pros
The tracking is spot on and I can look up customers and their history really quickly. The only thing I'd wish for is a bit more training on some of the advanced features.
Cons
I feel like my company could use more training. We only know enough to get by but I'm sure we could do more to make our jobs easier and sell more work.

“Average product
Pros
It is super versatile, which is great but sometimes that's also a bit of a double-edged sword. It gets the job done for us, or we wouldn't still be using it. I just hope YES can keep up with the times so we don't have to switch software down the road. I know it's tough for a smaller company to do that but we really appreciate their loyalty.
Cons
We've been using Market Manager for a few years now but now we use another outside company for some things. We bought the time clock feature but we're still using old time cards. I don't trust it for payroll and it won't automatically calculate overtime. The biggest frustration for me, though is how unfriendly it is for multiple locations. We have to redo a lot of admin tasks like pricing at each location, six times over.

“Best customer service
Pros
It's easy to use and keeps track of everything. Customer service is fantastic, super quick to resolve issues and help me understand how everything works.
Cons
The new VIN decoder erases info I've already entered. I'm also still having problems with different markups between vendors. plus the latest update added a bunch of new selections when entering part numbers. I used to just enter "NA" for NAPA but now it brings up a whole list of possibilities. It's really confusing.

“Little unstable
Pros
The integrated GL was one of the reasons I chose the YES system over others. Unfortunately, they no longer offer the GL and now I had to spend several hundred more to get a separate GL system, which was a bit frustrating.
Cons
The GL piece was discontinued and support for it has gotten pretty bad. The whole system feels unstable sometimes and it's hard to figure out why things aren't working.
