Pros
It handles nearly everything you'd want from a TMS platform. I also value that it offers real-time tracking. Another feature I find helpful is the clear breakdown of profit for each booked load which even displays the cost associated with deadheading per trip and fees.
Cons
Scanner in the driver app doesn't take good pictures. Also payroll is complicated and doesn't let me set custom pay schedules.

“drivers always fail to view details
Pros
I like the tracking feature. Also it is really helpful for keeping up with BOLs and it reminds me about driver qualification folders.
Cons
Drivers keep telling me they can't view the details, so we end up manually entering the information twice when they close out the pickup again.

“Reliable automation with contractor access
Pros
Automation is easy and the software is very reliable. Every contractor can log in and access the tools they need and I can manage everything well from our end.
Cons
It takes a while to get up to speed but once I have it's made my life completely easier. I honestly couldn't do anything without it.

“Driver portal with compliance records
Pros
The software packs lots of useful capabilities especially for talking with drivers and keeping compliance records and I really like the driver portal.
Cons
Well I see it as an emerging system that's still ironing out some rough edges so certain features are fairly limited right now.

“Reliable automation with contractor access
Pros
Automation is easy and the software is very reliable. Every contractor can log in and use it for their role and we can manage everything smoothly from our end.
Cons
It does take some time to get comfortable with it at first. But once I got past that learning curve, it made my daily work so much easier and now I honestly couldn't do my job without Axis.

Axis TMS combines great quality, fast performance and an easy to use workflow. It also includes many useful features all for a reasonable monthly price.

“Driver portal simplifies compliance tracking
Pros
The software is packed with useful tools. Plus things like messaging drivers and keeping track of compliance and its driver portal really makes things easier for me.
Cons
Overall I think this is an up and coming software that still has some rough edges. Though it is still improving and several features are still limited right now.

Pros
I really like the driver app as once a driver updates it, everything is handled and we do not have to chase for updates. Also it saves us from making constant phone calls to track a load. The support team has been great too as they helped us set everything up and fix any issues. I also like the new-driver onboarding feature as it makes it easy to store all driver info in the system for later use.
Cons
We really wish we could preview invoices before they are sent. As of right now I often cannot review them ahead of time which makes corrections harder. I'd also like the option to keep invoices on a single page. Too often they spill onto a second page which is not convenient for our customers.

Pros
It is affordable and the customer service is the best I have had in years. The support team really listens and actively builds new features to fit our workflows. Since trucking is not one size fits all, Axis has gone the extra mile to keep us satisfied every time.
Cons
When it comes to payroll I think the interface could be a bit more user-friendly and the mileage calculations for IFTA still require a lot of work. Also when I enter fuel manually it does not automatically go into IFTA reporting and in my opinion it should.

I really like the driver app because once I update it on the driver's end everything is settled as there's no need to keep calling people to relay load status. The team has been fantastic too, helping me work through issues and smooth out software glitches. I also like that new driver profiles can be set up in the system upfront, so I can have everything stored and ready for drivers to download later without having to re-enter data.
Cons
When it comes to billing, I wish I could preview invoices before they are sent out. It would also be much better if invoices could be limited to a single page as I often find they spill onto a second pagewhich is not very convenient for our customers and creates unnecessary confusion.

Pros
The price is very reasonable and the speed and quality of customer service replies are the best I have come across in a long time. As their support team genuinely pays attention and makes an effort to add new features so the system better fits our needs. Since trucking isn't a one size fits all industry, it has shown they are willing to go above and beyond to keep us satisfied.
Cons
Regarding payroll, I feel the module could be a bit more user friendly and I still find the IFTA mileage calculations need significant improvement. Also when I enter fuel records manually they don't automatically feed into the IFTA reports but they really ought to.

“dropdown tools with multi-user access
Pros
The interface is pretty simple especially the dropdown tools that make entering data much quicker. I also like that multiple users can be working in the software at once. For example while I'm typing a response someone else can be editing. Also it is easy to manipulate cells and export into Excel spreadsheets and I can easily generate the documents our sales operations team needs.
Cons
I often notice there are too many input fields and a lot of repeated entries so some information feels unnecessary. Also the software needs regular updates but upgrades take a long time and not all data transfers over at once. I've lost data several times during updates and had to call support to get it back.

“Drop-down menus speed data entry

What I really like is how user friendly the interface is and the drop down menus make entering data so much quicker. Multiple people can work in the system simultaneously like I'm even typing a response while others are in it. Also it is simple to format and move cells into Excel and it quickly generates the documents our sales operations team needs.
Cons
There are far too many fields to fill out, with a lot of redundant entries and required details that feel excessive. Plus the system needs regular updates but when upgrades happen they take ages and data doesn't migrate all at once. On multiple occasions we've lost information and had to contact support to retrieve it which is frustrating.

“Driver check-in with Easy Payroll
Pros
Creating employee profiles for my dispatchers is something I like. I'm also glad that my drivers are able to check in and out of stops by themselves while I can track their locations. Once I added the drivers and trucks, handling payroll, billing and the everyday dispatching of loads became an easy routine.
Cons
There is not much to complain about since I got everything I needed from the system. It was overwhelming to absorb all the features at the start yet after using it for a short time I became comfortable and figured out how to make it work for our workflow.

Pros
Everything updates automatically within seconds as I just enter the data and let it run. Live tracking refreshes every 180 seconds and I get alerts for expiring documents like medical cards or vehicle registrations. It is honestly the perfect tool for any dispatcher or logistics company.
Cons
At times I notice that switching between menus for example moving from the dispatch screen to the order management page can take noticeably longer than I'd expect which slows down my workflow.

Pros
I can set up profiles for my dispatchers which is really handy. Drivers can check in and out of stops on their own and I can track their locations in real time. And once I added drivers and trucks, managing payroll, invoices and daily dispatching became simple and routine.
Cons
Everything I needed is available, so there's not much I dislike about it. It was overwhelming at the start with a lot to learn but over time I became comfortable using it and now it feels perfect for my workflow.

Everything refreshes within seconds so I just enter data and can relax while the system does the rest. Location tracking refreshes automatically every 180 seconds too. I also receive alerts before things like medical cards or registrations lapse. It's honestly an ideal solution for any dispatcher or transportation company I've worked with.
Cons
However, when I move between sections for example going from the dispatch screen to the order management page it can be noticeably slow and often takes a long time to load.

I can quickly pull up the must knows I need, track my drivers precise locations in real time and enter IFTA records straight into the system.
Cons
Occasionally when I sign in details I previously updated revert on their own. For example my phone number and birth date get switched back without explanation.
