Pros
Being able to see our entire fleet's trip history makes a huge difference in keeping our drivers safe.
Cons
I wish there was a dash cam option available to view collisions as they happen, but sadly that is not an option right now.

Pros
Once we get the hang of it, FleetLocate software has become pretty simple to use.
Cons
The GPS accuracy is decent, but it is not 100% spot-on, I would say for now it is probably around 90%.

The map is easy to read, which makes it so simple for me to have a look at my drivers whenever needed.
Cons
It would be great to have an option to find a unit on the map and also see nearby repair shops in the same view.

Cons
Some of the reports are a bit confusing. I had to call tech support to get them set up properly.

Pros
The portal is simple and with it setting it up vehicles, geofences and mileage reports is also easy.
Cons
No major complaint to share at the moment, but I feel like having scheduled, repeating reports would be a great addition.

“It has become our work partner!
Pros
We have been using it for over the years and we have kept finding new ways it helps with our daily operations. At first, we just got it to track our vehicle assets but now it does so much more. It helps our analysts guide techs to job sites, assists in accident investigations and even helps with routing drivers when needed. We also use it for our driver safety program and to track our techs productivity and efficiency.
Cons
We could have taken advantage of more features earlier if we had scheduled an official training session for everyone when we first got it. However this is not a software fault but ours

Pros
Being able to check where my technicians are at any time of the day is proven highly beneficial.
Cons
The system goes down more often than I'd like. Also at times we stop getting alerts and occasionally, vehicle tracking just stops.

Not only is it easy to customize but it offers a lot of reports to choose from, all at a great price.
Cons
Not sure if it is a software issue, but sometimes FleetLocate cannot pinpoint exactly where our trucks are. It will only show the street name and city or just the city itself.

FleetLocate is highly customizable. Also I can give specific access to different team members as needed.
Cons
There are many things I have noticed. Like speed alerts are not always accurate. Also they at times show the wrong speed limit for a road. Positioning jumps around or drops out occasionally, and real-time tracking is hit or miss. It is also frustrating that a free app can track a phone constantly, but this paid service only updates every few minutes.

“No need to look for another fleet tracker
Pros
The 15-second tracking is highly helpful, especially when our driver gets lost or a customer calls asking for an ETA. Another great feature is the ability to reroute drivers when traffic is backed up. Sending messages through the tablets for their next job makes everything run smoothly. The HOS feature is great and the tablets are also user-friendly. Our drivers picked up on the system with minimal training. Plus the alerts are another big plus, and they have been really useful for training and improving driver safety and habits.
Cons
Some of the report formats are not very user-friendly, and they don't always give the info I need. Also, the PTO On/Off feature never seemed to be set up correctly. Other than that, the program is great.

Pros
FleetLocate best feature is asset tracking with 3 second updates. It helps our dispatchers guide lost drivers block by block. The live traffic updates on major roads are also a huge advantage, allowing our drivers to avoid delays and keep shipments on time.
Cons
Tracking for tractors and trailers is in separate windows, so we have to switch between screens to see which trailer a driver is using. Plus, trailer tracking updates only every 15 minutes, while tractor tracking updates every 3 seconds.

Pros
Everything is open, easy to find and simple to navigate. Also it is among one of the few platforms, I have come across, that really does not need much explaining or training. Updating alerts and reports is also quick and easy.
Cons
More space for notes in the maintenance section would be helpful, I think. Also, having a better way to send information to drivers would make dispatching easier something like their shift app, but just for dispatch.

“It's worth the cost!
Pros
Keeping track of our fleet has never been this easy. The real-time alerts let us know exactly where each vehicle is, and it is also very helpful when customers debate whether we were at a site on a specific date.
Cons
The biggest downside is that data is only stored for six months. A few times, I needed to look up older records and customer service charged a hefty fee to retrieve them.
