“Works fine but not very user-friendly”
Pros
I really love how this tool automatically selects the right reviewers based on the project type. It saves me so much time and makes the whole review process so much smoother.
Cons
It's not simple at all and I had to spend quite a bit of time just figuring things out.

“Work order tool at its best”
Pros
It is a game changer for any company that deals with field equipment. With its closed-loop automations, the integration features allow us to automatically issue work orders, making sure everything stays in tip-top shape.
Cons
Like most IBM stuff, it's kinda pricey. I like what it can do but you really feel the cost when you get the bill.

“Maximo covers a lot for operations”
Pros
It's super stable and covers pretty much everything you could need to run operations in any industry. It has all the key features and I don't have to worry about missing anything.
Cons
It's expensive for sure. And I found out the hard way that you can only do deployments through MDS, which is a bit limiting.

“Asset tracking software”
Pros
Building asset management trees with Maximo is so easy and comprehensive. I can track everything related to an asset , its components, maintenance, lifecycle you name it. It really helps keep everything in check.
Cons
Adding stuff like gearboxes, actuators, valves basically every single asset to the tree is painfully slow. plus you have to manually input the year of installation and other attributes one by one. It gets frustrating.

“Easy-to-use tool for handling tickets”
Pros
I can track, create, modify, close and resolve tickets all in one place. plus I can assign multiple tickets at once and link them to each other. It's simple to use, no heavy training needed and I can easily calculate the SLA.
Cons
Honestly, there's not much I dislike about this product. It does what it's supposed to and I haven't had major issues.

“Fantastic tool for managing assets”
Pros
It is perfect for businesses like mine that have a lot of assets to track. I personally use it to run reports on the changes we've made to our trains but I know it can do so much more!
Cons
It's not the most user-friendly software but once someone shows you how to use it, it's not too bad. It can be slow, though especially when working with a lot of data which I usually am.

“Ideal product”
Pros
Maximo is so organized and customizable. It's perfect for managing inventory. It's also really easy to learn, I can teach new workers the basics quickly so they can use it for their specific needs.
Cons
Since we host it ourselves, it can get really slow sometimes probably due to server issues or high traffic. If you're planning to use Maximo, make sure your server's got enough power.

“Works well for tracking company-wide operations”
Pros
It's so customizable that I don't even have enough time to use all its features. It is incredibly flexible and has the potential to benefit any company using it. You won't regret having it!
Cons
It really slows down my browser sometimes, to the point where it gets annoying. Also, managing it takes a lot of studying and I've had to rely on IBM support more than I'd like.

“Must have for reliability-centered maintenance”
Pros
Being able to track and manage work orders in Maximo is awesome. It helps me understand exactly what's going on at the facility. plus re-using and duplicating job plans takes away the hassle of writing out specific maintenance procedures for each piece of equipment.
Cons
It's a strong tool when it comes to building and tracking maintenance KPIs but you really need training and some hands-on experience to get the most out of it.

“Challenging to use”
Pros
It is highly customizable, runs smoothly in a virtual environment and is backed by IBM, so I know it's going to be around for a long time. That gives me peace of mind.
Cons
The UI is super busy and going from one screen to another feels clunky. Using the browser's back button usually breaks stuff. The search function is way more complicated than it should be almost unusable. We even have a 45-page 'Quick Guide' that says a lot. And to keep this thing running at the enterprise level, we've needed several IT developers and DBAs.

“Amazing services”
Pros
This tool provides excellent IT service management features at a low cost. The ticketing options are on par with other tools out there and it includes incident, problem and change management modules.
Cons
The service-level reporting module could definitely use some improvement. It works but not as well as I'd like.

“Leading asset management software”
Pros
It is perfect for specific industries. It's the most mature product out there, super flexible and has great user groups where I can share best practices with others in my field.
Cons
It's still expensive, no doubt but it's also kind of the premium option out there. Customer support is alright not amazing but not terrible either.

“Worst inventory management tool I've used”
Pros
It's decent for creating spreadsheets, but honestly, that's all I've really used it for. Nothing too special beyond that.
Cons
Trying to add a new search while you're inside the inventory is really tough. The interface isn't easy at all, it's like trying to figure stuff out using a rock.

“Good solution but difficult to use”
Pros
The integration capabilities with Maximo are amazing. It also has a ton of built-in features that make adoption super easy, helping us get up and running quickly.
Cons
It's hard to use, mainly because it has so many features crammed into it. The user interface feels overloaded, which makes it even more confusing.
