Momentum IOT is the best telematics product we have ever used. Not only is it easy to use, but it also comes with a lot of tools that help us work more efficiently and save money.

Cons

I wish I could integrate maintenance with its telematics. As it is something that will allow me to give alerts when maintenance is due, show service history, offer options to buy service kits like filters, fluids, and oil sample kits and even create work orders for mechanics with signoffs.

Pros

I absolutely love the real time feedback it provides and the updates we receive in the office from our trucks out in the field.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that the Eagle 1's antenna is unpredictable at times, but once I figure out the perfect spot for it, it never troubles me.

As a small business just getting into the freight game, I was on the lookout for a product that lets me track and understand my drivers movements while they are carrying the shipper's cargo. I needed something that delivered real-time data that both the shipper and receiver could access. Momentum IoT gives me exactly that so I do not have to hold their hand every step of the way. I can focus on other tasks while they check in whenever they need. Plus, it's really user-friendly and does not require much training. The customer support is awesome too. They are friendly, knowledgeable and truly on top of their game.

Since this is one of the first systems I have used, I really do not have anything bad to mention. I have enjoyed using it and most issues I experienced were just user errors on my part.

With Momentum IoT we can easily re-route our drivers whenever needed.

I do not like that drivers aren't allowed to edit their routes.

The setup instructions and the installation process for the software are not very clear. As it takes a bit of time to fully understand them.

Momentum IoT is fairly easy to use. Also it is totally plug and play, so setting it up was not take much of my time. I also love that I get real-time updates and the best part is that it won't break the bank.

It would be awesome if it showed the Trips Report of stops and locations of my drivers.

The installation and set up process of Momentum IoT was simple. Plus it is so accurate with its location tracking and live feed.

If there were more options available for mobile devices, it would be great.

What I really liked about it is how simple it is to set up. I chose the 12V connection option which lets me switch between different assets whenever needed.

Honestly, the only thing I do not like about this product is that it drains the battery if you don't use your truck for a few weeks. For example during quarantine, I did not drive my truck for two weeks and ended up with a dead battery probably because the GPS was slowly draining it. However as long as I drive the truck once a week, the alternator recharges the battery fine.

Pros

The fact that they offer the first 30 days free along with free shipping really shows me that Momentum believes in what they are doing.

Cons

The map takes too long to load, and there is no cell phone app available which I hope they will introduce soon.

Pros

For me, the most useful feature of Momentum IoT is being able to go back and view past trips.

Cons

I noticed that the mobile app does not have all the features that the desktop version offers.
