“direct Post Nord integration for label printing”
Pros
Having it linked directly with the Danish postal service, Post Nord, is a big advantage. It lets us print packing labels for our customers without hassle which is really helpful in our day-to-day work.
Cons
Honestly the interface doesn't feel especially clear although it's hard to point to a specific change that would clearly improve that part.

“flexible delivery options”
Pros
nShift gives us the flexibility customers expect these days when it comes to delivery options.
Cons
Integrating with the platform isn't always fully compliant or properly aligned with the carrier integration on the backend.

“Supportive client care”
Pros
Whenever we need assistance, the team we work with responds quickly and is always helpful.
Cons
The ticketing system is quite slow and doesn't seem to function very well.

“multi-carrier support with detailed APIs”
Pros
Handling multiple carriers with nShift has been a really great experience. The self-service setup makes onboarding new carriers and adding extra services very simple. Also everything is supported by detailed online documentation and well-designed APIs. We've been using their services for over 12 years now.
Cons
There's honestly very little to complain about with this but the GUI could be a bit more accessible and make better use of the available screen width but since we mainly work through the APIs, it hasn't been much of an issue.

“daily reliability”
Pros
Typically we run into very few problems even though we use it every day. When smaller issues come up, customer support tends to reply quickly and helps us sort things out. Larger problems can be a bit more difficult but if we set aside time with nShift, the implementation process is usually fast and painless. It has the right amount of features to make sure we can get what we need done effectively. I can't really comment on the integration side since I'm not involved enough with that part.
Cons
Working with the XML file is frustrating and more annoying than it should be. Support is also slower to respond when the issue is more serious.

“Slow product development”
Pros
We have multiple solutions gathered in one platform and that is a real advantage. The layout is simple to move around in and they're clearly building toward tools that let us customize a lot on our own instead of having to contact customer service every time.
Cons
It needs to speed up product development to stay competitive. At times, the company still gives off more of a startup vibe than a fully mature solution provider.

“convenient single shipment hub”
Pros
Having one place where we can create every shipment and keep track of them has been really helpful. Also the customer support is fast to respond and very thorough whenever we need assistance.
Cons
Some of the terminology can be a bit confusing at first when it's being explained especially terms like "actors."

“complicated invoicing”
Pros
To be honest I don't have much to add here.
Cons
The invoicing process feels overly complicated overall and should be made more user-friendly because changing the company name on an invoice was quite complicated and ended up taking a lot more of our time than expected.

“Impersonal service desk”
Pros
At work we really only use a small part of Consignor, mainly for printing labels, checking PickUp Points and validating addresses. Since we handle the installation ourselves, we're able to manage what we need without relying on nShift support.
Cons
Early on we had direct contacts who could actually help when issues came up. Now everything has to go through the service desk which feels much less personal and convenient.

“quick support response”
Pros
Whenever an issue comes up for us, their team is easy to reach and they respond quickly which makes communication very easy.
Cons
Before we ran into some downtime with our delivery checkout when nShift made internal changes or during a release. That said, the problem was resolved afterward and they communicated clearly throughout the incident.
