Definitely the worst system I've used

Pros

Honestly, I liked absolutely nothing about it. The software is full of glitches and doesn't function well at all. It was seriously the worst decision I ever made. Customer service? Totally unhelpful, unless they're trying to sell something or charge you for something. Super disappointing.

Cons

It just isn't user-friendly for MROs at all. Personally, there's nothing I like about it. It doesn't work for how we operate.

Good product, terrible support

Pros

I really like how it handles inventory management, reminders and time settings. plus I've got the freedom to customize a few functions to fit how our company works best. It just makes everything flow better.

Cons

At first, I liked the idea of being able to make my own templates and I appreciated the functionality. But honestly, once they sell you the service, it feels like they just stop caring. I've gotten half-baked answers, no real help and even rude emails that just link to a help page I already checked before reaching out. It's super frustrating. One employee with a bad attitude can ruin the whole experience and it got me thinking if I should just look for something else on the market. Sometimes it really feels like they think they're doing me a favor by letting me be their customer and I should just be grateful and take it. That's not cool.

Not user-friendly at all

Pros

I think it has some real potential. What's nice is that we can try out the system and play around with it without having to make a big commitment right away.

Cons

The system isn't easy at all. One big issue for me is how the estimate totals don't really show what the customer has or hasn't approved. That just makes things confusing.

Perfect solution for GA with Quantum MX

Pros

It's cloud-based, which is awesome because I don't need a server and can work from anywhere. My customers love the customer portal and those email reminders help me keep up with where each aircraft stands.

Cons

Getting the engine and prop TSOH/TSN set up was kind of a pain. It's not very simple, especially since it's tied to the aircraft's total time. Once I figured it out, it was fine but it took some effort. It'd be great if there was an option to print an AD status or something. Or maybe I just need to dig into it more.

Great tool with excellent customer service

Pros

This software really takes care of everything for my company. From work orders and inventory to purchasing, sales orders and even tools calibration, it handles it all in one place. Super convenient.

Cons

It definitely takes a little time to get used to the way everything flows in this software. Some tasks feel like they take too many steps like receiving parts, which has me clicking all over different pages just to get it done.

Unmatched value & exceptional customer service

Pros

There are so many unique features that I haven't seen in any other software, QMX clearly had a lot of thought put into it. The customer portals are fantastic, the price is super low and tech support is lightning fast. Their customer service is seriously AMAZING!!

Cons

Creating progressive invoices is not very smooth in this system. Also, when I'm dealing with large work orders, the navigation gets kind of clunky and less efficient.

Huge improvements in efficiency

Pros

That "search for anything" bar on the homepage? Love it. We can dump all our work order info in one spot and the software fills out different forms for us. It keeps track of parts coming in and going out and we can assign them to specific jobs. It is super flexible so we can use it in a way that works best for us. And their support team? Top notch, quick replies, super helpful and always willing to answer our questions. plus it saves info about parts, customers and equipment so it's easy to pull up what we need later.

Cons

It will take some time to learn. There are often several ways to do the same thing, so it can be hard to remember what you did and where. Since it's all online, some features depend heavily on our internet and we've had a few glitches or slowdowns. The purchase orders tool is also kind of limited when we're sending parts out for repair instead of buying them.

Incredible customer support

Pros

It's super easy to use and everything just makes sense. I really appreciate how the dev team keeps improving different parts of the software. Since it works in the cloud, I can log in from my phone or laptop and get stuff done. Though I gotta say, it's easier to take notes on a laptop.

Cons

Some of the features take a while to really understand. Once you get the hang of them, they're okay but at first, it's not super smooth.

Fast and quick

Pros

What stands out the most for me is their customer service. They're always quick to respond when I need help or have questions. I also love how affordable it is and how flexible it is to customize for our specific needs.

Cons

I'd like to see more detailed reports for P&L data. Specifically, I wish they included percentages and broke down labor costs more clearly.

Top-tier aviation software

Pros

It is a total game-changer for our repair station. It helps keep everything organized from parts and engines to customer info, work orders and even employee labor time. I can track labor hours to find the average time jobs take, which helps us hit deadlines and pitch better to new customers. The data entry side of things is super solid too, I can plug in all kinds of info about parts, repairs, work orders and more. I love that I can scan and upload documents when receiving parts, making it easy to trace where they came from. Honestly, it's one of my favorite tools at our engine repair station. I use it for shipping, receiving and tracking my work as a mechanic. Saves me from having to remember what I did and how long it took!

Cons

If you're entering a lot of data and need to move quickly, it can be a bit of a drag especially if you've got a big server network. A few times, I've had the software freeze up or even lock me out which kills the workflow.

Best choice for tracking aircraft

Pros

There's a ton this program can do. It tracks aircraft TIS, component hours, inventory, work orders, logbook entries, you name it. The interface is easy to use and modern and since it's server-based, I never worry about losing data. I can access it from anywhere even on my phone! Their customer support is absolutely fantastic and always open to feedback. plus it's way cheaper than other options out there.

Cons

Honestly, it's hard to point out just one thing. Most issues I've had get fixed quickly which I appreciate. But if I had to say something, I think the Airworthiness Directive tracking could still use some work.

Perfect solution to modernize your GA shop

Pros

First off, the price is insanely good. Even if you're just a mechanic working from your truck, you can afford it. I thought it was a scam at first because it seemed too cheap but it's real, we're locked into our price even though they've raised it since. Second, the customer service is awesome. The support rep was super chill, helpful and quick to respond. A lot of times they fix stuff while you're still on the call! Third, it's truly web-based. You're not logging into some external server; it runs straight from Google's cloud. So as long as you've got internet you've got access phone, laptop, tablet, whatever. That also means updates happen instantly when you reload the page. Fourth, the reminders feature is a big hit with our customers. They love being able to see their equipment's due dates clearly with status bars that change colors as the deadline approaches. Last but not least, their invoices look professional and are totally customizable. What more could you want?

Cons

One thing I'm not a fan of is how reminder dates are shown. It technically works but it's not what we're used to seeing in logbooks. Like, if your ELT battery expires in March 2019, Quantum shows it as due on April 1st, 2019. So instead of the actual expiration date, it shows the first "no-go" date. Kinda confusing.

Fits our needs perfectly

Pros

I like that it's written specifically for maintenance shops. It's like they actually understand what we need day-to-day.

Cons

Some of the integration stuff is tough mostly the QuickBooks side of things. Also, a few features aren't very shop-friendly but I know the team is actively working on fixing those, which is good.

Really great software

Pros

What I love is how easy it is for my team to clock in and out of different jobs, even when they're switching tasks. It's made creating logbooks and invoices so much smoother.

Cons

The home page honestly isn't very helpful. All I can do from there is look at aircraft and open work orders. I wish it showed more useful stuff like what parts are on order, pending or open work orders or even a schedule or calendar view.

Best fit for my small shop

Pros

It's just super easy to use and really accessible. I never feel lost and it doesn't take much to get things done.

Cons

There's a lot to learn at first. Sometimes it takes a while to find the option or tool I'm looking for and that can be frustrating when I'm in a rush.

Easy-to-use, top software

Pros

It's easy to run and they're always adding new stuff to make it better. Support is great too and the monthly cost is really low. Works for me!

Cons

Still haven't been able to get my printer set up properly for the right label format. I've tried but no luck so far.
