“The illusion of benefit

Almost nothing is to be liked, other than the people are very nice to speak to.

This is a legal scam in my opinion. We spent over 50 hours to get through all the requirements, with redundant entries, confusion hierarchy, glitchy site, and so many frustrating situations that I can't recall them all. The price is CRAZY EXPENSIVE at $2500.00 per year. This is a requirement by our customer, and it turns out we don't even qualify for the basic level of compliance because as a small company, we have had 1 reportable injury in 3 years. Due to our size, we are suddenly stricken from the qualified contractors list. Thank god that we are too valuable for them to sever ties with, and they gave us a waiver to keep working with them. Unfortunately we've had to raise our prices to them $20.00 per hour higher, and now they are frustrated with the pricing increase. This all could have been avoided but some sales person convinced our customer this was a good idea. IT IS NOT GOOD TO ENGAGE. You are probably better off firing your customer before they fire you because Avetta will find a way to declare you out of compliance. - Furthermore there are so many areas they don't even inquire about, for example, legal citizenship status, valid drivers licenses, driving records, electricians license verification, permit verifications and more. Driving challenges have had the most impact on our business (fatality accident years ago), but they skip right past that. Instead they focus on things that sound good but little benefit. Overall my advise is to STAY AWAY. Do Not Fall for their Legal SCAM.

“Difficult to use
Pros
I like nothing at all so I am logging off now. Well it is so funny to me how they are trying to combine HR, EHS and insurance into one category, when within their own company those are three separate functions each managed by different departments and at least three distinct people.
Cons
The system is not user friendly at all. The terms and definitions are unclear. And every time I try to update any information I have to contact Avetta. This is the second company I have worked with that uses this software and my experience has been nothing but frustrating.

“Awful product but big companies will still buy it
Pros
It is truly terrible. As they have just figured out the market but do not seem to feel the need to offer any real value. Unfortunately we are stuck with them because they have managed to convince big clients of their so-called non-existent magic powers.
Cons
Everything about it is a problem. The buttons do not work, so you end up wasting two hours calling support and getting transferred between call centers. No one seems able to fix the issue and when they finally find someone who can, the call keeps getting dropped.

“Avoid this company if you want to keep suppliers happy
Pros
I honestly don't have anything good to say. Their customer service takes forever to get back to you and they charge ridiculously high fees for everything.
Cons
This company is just out to take advantage. They let potential clients connect then charge $600 to the credit card on file. Like we are very cautious about who we connect with, usually reserving membership for our regular clients. But now we are forced to dispute every charge. I mean how is this even allowed?

I do not have anything positive to share as none of the features are user friendly or useful in any way.
Cons
There are so many issues that it is hard to list them all. Like the system barely functions even on a good day. Adding employees is a nightmare with endless back and forth responses from people who seem unable to understand basic document details. Plus the workflow is not logical at all. And the system crashes if there is even the slightest issue.

“A fraudulent business with sketchy practices
Pros
This company is the worst. I had no choice but to use them for a job with another company. They made the compliance process way too complicated and delayed a contract because of their awful customer service. The company that used them ended up dropping them in under a year and I cannot say that I am surprised with the action. I reached out to them last week to cancel my account but they have not done anything. In fact they have charged me for a full year of service I didn't ask for or need.
Cons
Getting in touch with anyone from the deactivation team is simply impossible. I have called, emailed and sent chat requests multiple times over the past week but they are ignoring my request. Now I am forced to contact my bank to file a fraud case. I even tried to remove my bank account details last week but they refused which feels like fraud to me.

“The product is trash
Pros
The long loading animation is the only thing that keeps me entertained. Other than that I have nothing good to say about it.
Cons
Avetta's product is extremely flawed when it comes to managing workers. Even the simplest updates to a workers profile take five minutes and the app crashes if you try to assign more than a few workers at once. Plus the support team just keeps passing you around and any major data changes need tech support to fix.
