Everything about this software is great as it is easy to use, offers the best support whenever we need is and it is also cost effective.

Cons

I believe it would be better if the default dashboard view did not have "by activity group" already selected.

Overall it is quite good. I find it easy and simple to navigate.

The interface seems a bit weird when working on a small laptop without a second monitor. And in the inventory, you can only view four rows at a time which feels limiting. A lot of the screen is just empty white space. This is not a problem on a larger screen but on a small one, it really messes with the overview especially when comparing different flows. It makes the process inefficient because I have to keep scrolling. So one suggestion would be to make the inventory header smaller or add an expandable/collapsible bar like the one on the left vertical navigation. Additionally scrolling horizontally can be annoying. So it would be helpful if users could adjust the column widths to make the most of the small screen and avoid constant scrolling. I hope this feedback is useful and improving the screen layout for small laptops would be great.

Pros

CAD is fairly easy to use and very user friendly. Also it offers a wide range of emission factors. The team is always helpful and their support team responds quickly to any questions. They are also very open to feedback and since I have started using CAD, it has improved a lot with new features and there are even more coming soon.

Cons

Uploading spend-based data for Category 1 is pretty simple but for other categories, it turns into a manual process. I believe this is intentional as it encourages the use of more accurate sources such as activity-based data.

The workflow is pretty simple and the dashboard provides a helpful overview. I also like the automatic reports though I feel like the ESRS-E1 report could use a bit more detail.

I really like the thought and care that goes into this product. After using it for over a year it is impressive for me to see how much it has improved and evolved so quickly. The rapid updates show the teams dedication. For our company it is very important to have software that not only simplifies our processes but also adapts to the fast changing market and regulatory needs. The team at Carbon + Alt + Delete has been very responsive to our feedback, showing expertise in GHG inventory standards and providing tools that make the consultant's job much easier.

Some front end aspects need minor adjustments. As there are a few bugs and inconsistencies particularly with the import function. These are likely caused by new features and integrations that still need some fine tuning but nothing major that would disrupt the workflow. The scenarios section could also be more functional though it would require a significant redesign. For basic scenario evaluations, it works fine but for more detailed modeling with individual activity data or emission factors it is not the best. Plus it would be useful to define potential scenarios during the inventory phase for activity data and emission factors as Excel still seems to be the best tool for such detailed analysis.

Carbon+Alt+Delete platform is very easy to use and if any issues arise, the guides have proven quite helpful for us. Also thanks to the team as they are always ready to assist. Kenneth and the rest of the team also take user feedback seriously and make the necessary changes based on what's important to the users.

I feel like it would be great if users could customize the colors of the graphs on the dashboard. This would allow for more personalization and be better for client presentations.

There are occasional minor bugs like lines not loading in the inventory and some delays when uploading imports. However these are small issues that have already been fixed.

Well I really like the overview and the instructions along with CAD's databanks and the ability to add emission factors to our own platform. Plus the team is responsive and help is always available.

CAD does not seem very user-friendly to me at first. Also national energy emission factors mainly of Germany were missing for quite some time.

Working with Carbon+Alt+Delete is simple. The databases are easy to access and the categories provide a clear overview. Plus I like the fact that it aligns with the GHG agreement right out of the box.

I find it difficult to remove a fully integrated list if there is an error in the upload and recently I noticed the databases have been loading more slowly than usual.

The interface is simple and enjoyable to use as it is very user friendly and visually appealing. Plus it integrates with Excel, supports benchmarking and is priced affordably. The support team including Javier and Kyle are fantastic. And I love that the platform is customizable and I can adjust emission factors as needed.

There is no direct matching between Excel and CAD, so emission factors need to be monitored manually and sometimes they are tricky to locate. Plus errors can occur during imports and I need to generate a report for GHG and ISO 14064.

I really like the dashboard because it clearly shows comparisons between years and different scope emissions. Also the ability to upload external data is extremely useful and saves me lot of time on projects.

Occasionally the emission factors used do not match what I expected but the good thing is that CAD has been steadily improving this issue.

The consultant interface is great and the links to the client interface work smoothly. It makes working with clients to calculate their carbon footprint much simpler and more efficient for us. Plus the import templates and database access are very helpful.
