Right from the start it delivers thorough audit management that helps keep compliance on track and reduces risk. The tools are user-friendly so handling audits and related processes feels organized and manageable.

Getting fully comfortable with it can take some time because the learning curve is fairly steep. It can also feel a bit limited when trying to customize it for very specific business requirements.

Having all of our monthly health and safety reporting in one program has been really helpful especially since it replaces the stack of paper forms we used to print for the two inspections we have to complete.

I find it easy to use. One thing I really appreciate is being able to export reports to Excel and also work with the Tableau platform from the same workflow.

Tableau can't connect live. To use it with Tableau, you need to rely on a file or stored data repository instead of a real-time connection.

Switching from a paper-based audit process to this software has made a huge difference for us. The checklist builder is very customizable and we're able to use fairly advanced logic to support our more complex audit workflows. It has significantly reduced the time needed to revise, complete and send audit documents to our management teams. The OData feed has also been a valuable addition because it lets us build custom reports and identify issues that probably would have gone unnoticed otherwise.

Cons

Along the way, we've come across a few bugs although I suspect that's partly because we're using the software a bit differently than most organizations. On the positive side, the Certainty support team has been extremely responsive and helpful and we've been very pleased working with them. Some features especially scheduling and workflows, are a little difficult to learn and still don't fully match our needs so we haven't been able to use them as much as we had hoped. There are tutorial guides and videos on their YouTube channel but even with those, these features don't always behave the way we expect.

Pros

It feels very simple to operate and our team didn't need much training to start using it confidently. The checklist builder is also really flexible so we can create all the forms we need and still keep them simple by taking advantage of the conditional logic features built into the tool.

The reporting side can feel somewhat rigid and there are times when the available options seem too hard-coded and not flexible enough.
