Pros
Document workflows are more efficient and it is always clear to me where a document is in the process. No more documents getting lost in the mail or sitting idle on a desk.
Cons
Creating a permission concept including role profiles and the organizational structure can be time-consuming. Plus ongoing administrative maintenance requires IT knowledge. So without at least some IT background let me tell you that it is difficult to function as an administrator even with proper training.
