Cons

“Powerful tool
Pros
I like having so many different data options available as it really comes in handy. The interface is pretty user friendly too though you will definitely need some training to get the most out of it. The main features work really well and do what they're supposed to do.
Cons
The Excel plugin and formulas definitely help with building dashboards but I find myself spending way too much time manually checking spreadsheets and relying on external sources for data as it really slows things down.

“Struggles with data merging and reporting

I can analyze data in so many different ways with this platform which gives me the flexibility I really need. Though I will admit, all that data can feel pretty overwhelming at times.
Cons
The reporting features could be improved as they feel limited for my needs. Plus setting up dashboards requires activating the Excel plugin and putting a lot of effort into interface design which adds extra steps to the process.

“simple tool with strong features
Pros
I've found Lucanet extremely user-friendly and packed with features that have helped us strengthen our consolidation process for example the Intercompany matrix quickly flags intercompany mismatches, importing FX rates is simple and we can upload Excel reports for our smaller entities. We also rely on it to consolidate budgets. It's simple to have each subsidiary upload its budget template and with a single click I can produce a consolidated budget. Being able to compare budgeted rates to actual rates is particularly handy.
Cons
There are ongoing issues: sometimes the booking description is wrong because Lucanet inexplicably pulls data from a different field. We also couldn't get Lucanet to integrate cleanly with Power BI, the ERP connectors don't consistently retrieve data which prevented a proper connection.

Cons
What annoys me is that switching between screens (from my laptop to an external monitor) usually causes the application to crash.

I've found LucaNet's interface to be extremely user-friendly and I can tailor the reports to match our specific needs without much hassle.
Cons
When we add new cost centers I have to manually update every existing report to include them which is time-consuming, it would be helpful if reports offered selectable verification fields so I could reconcile totals like the balance sheet sum directly.
