“Had a great experience using it

Pros

The customer support is outstanding. They are always quick to respond and genuinely helpful and they do an excellent job of taking feedback from customers to improve the product. Plus they understand that the software can have a steep learning curve so they offer comprehensive training including live sessions where users can get hands-on support.

Cons

My only issue with it is the standard out-of-the-box audit reports. They work fine for communicating audit results to coders and coding management but they look outdated and lack visual charts or a clear summary of data for an executive overview which feels disconnected from the rest of its reporting features. And I believe improvements are being worked on but it's disappointing that this has been neglected for so long.

Pros

MDaudit Enterprise tool is very easy to use and serves us as a fantastic all in one solution for managing claims and denials data. And since it is web-based there is hardly any downtime at all.

Cons

The team at Hayes does an excellent job of listening to end users and they really welcome enhancement requests. So there is honestly nothing we dislike about the tool.

“Offers the best assistance

Pros

I do not use this software daily but I would say that the reporting features are my favorite part. We use the reports in various ways to share risk and audit findings with leadership and clinical providers.

Cons

To be honest I do not have any negative feedback to share at this time. We are happy with all the services provided so far.

“Awesome software for auditing

Pros

Being able to run reports independently instead of relying on a third party for data has been a huge time saver. Also there are plenty of tools within the program that help auditors complete audits quickly while maintaining high quality. Features like the Risk Area Worksheets ensure that criteria set by regulatory guidelines are reviewed. The Tasks tool is also excellent for keeping an audit on track by reminding the auditor of important checkpoints during the process. What I like most about it is how the company listens to its customers. They encourage feedback and not only do they take suggestions seriously but they often incorporate them into the next system update. Plus it is exciting to receive update alerts and see the new features being added.

Cons

The part I liked least about it was the initial implementation. There is so much information and functionality to absorb at first. I have been using it for three years and have witnessed significant improvements. Although the initial implementation was a challenge for our team but since it introduced a video-based LEARN environment, training sessions and a self-service help section that's much more user-friendly. And I am sure if these resources had been available back in early 2020 and if we did not have the pandemic our teams implementation experience would have been much smoother.

“Easy to customize

Pros

Since it is a web-based product, it is very user-friendly and the ability to customize so many features is great and proven helpful for our needs.

Cons

While it is great that the Risk Area Worksheets are highly customizable but the build process can feel overwhelming. For me the challenge lies in ensuring the correct findings are attached and making sure the findings are limited to their assigned categories. As we move towards risk-based auditing I can see how useful it would be to attach or assign a specific risk to an individual.

“Simple awesome

Pros

MDaudit Enterprise makes scheduling and creating audits a simple task. Also the audit workflow is efficient allowing auditors to complete more audits than before. Overall it has really helped our department become more efficient and meet other demands on our time.

Cons

I would like to see more reporting and trend analysis for Diagnosis codes but aside from that there is nothing I dislike about the product.
