high data quality and good integration

Pros

What stands out most is the well-structured implementation approach, along with its strong data quality features and reliable golden record creation. It does a very good job of bringing data from multiple sources into one trusted view while also giving us the tools to define and maintain high data standards. Those capabilities have been especially useful for keeping data consistent and dependable across the organization.

Cons

A few challenges came up around the time-heavy initial setup, performance limits with very large data sets and the overall complexity of tuning the system. Getting everything configured the right way takes a lot of effort and coordination across teams. On top of that, handling very high data volumes can be slower than expected which can affect timelines for data loads and regular updates.

good data matching system

Pros

One of the best parts of this platform is its matching algorithms along with the portal interface. It lets us pull in data from different sources, standardize everything and uncover relationships without needing separate tools. Another big plus is that we can create a UI that gives business owners better support and more control while they review results and manage the domain data they own.

Cons

When larger data sets are shown in the portal UI, they can get harder for business-oriented users to handle especially when their main task is editing, adding and maintaining data. Also, setting up task workflows and notifications still requires knowledge of Visual Studio coding which makes it less accessible for non-technical users.

best data management tool

Pros

Okay so the biggest strengths for us have been its powerful hierarchy management which has really helped simplify our data processes. Data modeling is also a strong point making it much easier to structure, collect and share information effectively. It does an excellent job of supporting data quality from the very beginning which helps keep everything accurate and well-managed throughout the process. The user experience feels thoughtfully designed too especially in the way information is displayed which gives our users a comfortable and efficient environment for analysis. On top of that, the ongoing innovation to improve the customer experience is noticeable and it shows through both the dependable support and the overall quality of the platform.

Cons

One challenge has been the SAP connectors which are not fully developed. That seems to be more of an SAP-related limitation but it still impacts our experience even though there are workarounds available within the platform. We also ran into difficulties during the initial setup. While the professional services team clearly knew the product well, they were juggling several implementations at the same time and could not give our particular use case their full attention. Because of that, we experienced a few issues that likely could have been avoided if a dedicated third-party team had been focused entirely on our project.

Customer matching

Pros

One thing this system does really well is customer matching and the customer success team has been extremely committed to helping us succeed.

Cons

We have run into some performance issues when using it at larger scale although it sounds like newer versions have addressed this to some extent.

Centralized data

Pros

Having our data stored and managed in one centralized place has been a big plus since it helps keep things consistent and uniform across the entire business.

Cons

At the beginning, we were a bit concerned because we were building a fabric environment and needed connectors for it and those just weren't available at the time. Since then though, the product has been upgraded and now includes fabric connectors.

Fast implementation!!

Pros

One of the biggest advantages has been how quickly the platform can be implemented and how flexible it is once it's in place. It connects well with our existing data platforms, scales reliably as needs grow and lets us set up new solutions fast without leaning too heavily on highly specialized resources. On top of that, the hands-on support has been excellent. The team stays engaged, provides the right guidance when needed and brings the expertise that helps us keep moving forward confidently. They also continue looking for new ways to add value which has made the overall experience even better.

Cons

We did not take full advantage of how well the platform could fit into our broader ecosystem and as a result some of its capabilities ended up being used in silos. There seem to be many more API integrations available now but during the original implementation period the integration setup could have been more powerful.

Easy onboarding

Pros

Getting up to speed with the product is one of its biggest strengths and it doesn't take long to start using it confidently. Another big plus is that the company keeps listening to customer feedback and regularly rolls out enhancements and new features based on what users actually need.

Cons

A few small issues still come up around data management, such as not having a simple way to select all when assigning values into a bridge entity. Early in the implementation and rollout with the IT team, there was also some friction between delivering the customer's vision and guiding them toward the best approach.

Master data management

Pros

For our core MDM needs, it delivers a full set of capabilities, including data ingestion, address, phone and email validation, matching, survivorship and golden record management. On top of that, the web-based Fast App we use for data stewardship and record reviews connects easily with our data models.

Cons

This is a very large platform and working through the academy can easily take a couple of months. I've also worked in both the PaaS and SaaS environments and while the PaaS option is far more flexible, it also demands a higher level of technical expertise.
