“Simple Security Monitoring Solution

Pros

I really appreciate how smooth this platform is and it gives me great visibility into our security stance. Being able to track both our internal security metrics and vendor ratings lets me stay ahead of potential vulnerabilities before they become problems.

Cons

The alerts can get overwhelming sometimes and they come in too frequently and often aren't specific enough which creates fatigue. Also, the pricing doesn't work well for smaller organizations that are watching their budget closely.

“Enhanced Analytics with Room to Grow

Pros

The data is really valuable and gives great insights - it's perfect for starting conversations with vendors about their cybersecurity controls. There are tons of features for collecting data, gathering evidence and reaching out to vendors to get a handle on their infosec posture.

Cons

The automated reporting features could definitely use some updates.

I get solid insights about our business partners through this system.

Cons

Finding what I need is pretty frustrating and there's no way to save your progress and return to it later.

Pros

The ease of use really stands out with this platform. Getting it deployed and running is incredibly quick since it's hosted and most of the time your scorecard is ready to go right away. I've only encountered maybe 1-2 instances where the website wasn't already in their database and had to wait for them to fetch it.

Cons

The integration options with other systems could definitely be improved.

“Great dealership management solution

Pros

I find it excellent for tracking security scores, whether for our own organization or external partners. What stands out to me is how simple everything is to grasp and use. The customer service team really focuses on helping and they genuinely listen when you provide feedback. Plus, they let you test new features as a pilot before full rollout.

Cons

It throws up false alerts more often than I'd like, and there's no way to get an overall score for our entire enterprise setup.

The ratings are spot-on and the customer service team is fantastic to work with.

Cons

I get overwhelmed by all the data available and end up going down rabbit holes with vendors, almost like I'm one of there network defenders.

The cash management feature doesn't sync properly with my bank account, which is really frustrating when I'm trying to track finances remotely.

“Great conversation starter tool

Pros

I rely on this as an additional data source when evaluating vendor security during risk assessments. What I appreciate most is how it provides comprehensive details that help me ask the right questions about third parties. The reports have enough depth that I can submit them and expect focused, specific responses rather than vague, surface-level answers.

Cons

About half the vendors I contacted said they don't actually maintain their Scorecard info and just pointed me to their security trust centers instead which have more accurate penetration testing data. This creates way too many false positives that you cant really trust.

“Excellent Security Posture Management Tool

Pros

I really appreciate how this platform gives us a clear view of our security from an outsider's perspective using all that public data and it's like holding up a mirror to see exactly how we look externally. What's particularly valuable is that it goes beyond just rating our security posture, it actually helps manage our entire external attack surface. The fact that so many organizations are now using these scores has created this positive peer pressure where everyone feels compelled to maintain better security standards, which honestly benefits the whole community.

Cons

The scoring system gets affected by everything tied to your company name, including vendor services and such. While I get that security posture should include the whole ecosystem, it can be frustrating when test systems under the same domain tank your scores significantly.

“Powerful Tool for Better Vendor Negotiations

Pros

The reporting options are fantastic and I can tailor my security results for different audiences which is huge since we use these findings as contract leverage with vendors for security control maintenance. Support has been really responsive too especially when I'm working on tight deadlines. I also appreciate how they regularly check in with customers to gather feedback and help us get more value from the platform.

Cons

The tool needs to pull Atlas data together with everything else to give me a complete picture of vendor security controls. Right now I'm missing crucial pieces like administrative controls and phishing exercises that I really need for accurate vendor scoring. Also, tweaking the IP footprint for reports is more complicated than it should be. When I'm assessing business partners who use IT providers, I want to focus on just their subdomain for credibility, but the system makes this harder than necessary.

“Affordable & gets the job done

Pros

It has been one of the most user-friendly and intuitive pieces of software I've encountered in my 36-year career. It's valuable right from the start with a great dashboard that lets you dive deeper into findings. As a bonus, it actually tells you how to fix the problems it identifies. I've been so impressed that I've purchased it for the past 3 security roles I've held. Everyone I've recommended it to has been amazed by it. The support team is fantastic too!

Cons

Honestly, I'm struggling to find anything that really bothers me about this platform. If I had to nitpick, maybe adding some dark web intelligence about our organization would push it from excellent to absolutely perfect but that's really reaching for criticism.
