Pros
Everything is handled digitally making it simple to review, locate and link documents to policies. Also the customer service is excellent as they always assist us on time.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that editing documents in the system is quite challenging and the app tends to be slow.

Pros
We really like SFS because it helps us keep all our records and policies in one central location, eliminating paper. Also it is easy to find what we need and to show our staff how to use the app without dealing with paper copies.
Cons
The app and web experience can sometimes glitch or run slowly. However we appreciate that whenever we face issues the SFS team is quick to try to resolve them.

Smart EMP implementation process is quite simple. Plus the customer service is top-notch and the platform continues to grow and improve which I like the most about it.

The customer support is great as they always assist us when needed and I like the software adapts well to the requirements of the industry.
Cons
I feel like first-time-right process could be better especially when it comes to adding or removing features in Smart Records as it still needs a bit of fine-tuning.

Pros
I really like how customizable the product is. It made implementation so much easier as I could recreate our old paper templates almost exactly. Also this made the transition smooth for the floor operators and the added conditional formatting for formulations made their jobs simpler.
Cons
It would be really helpful to have the ability to approve documents directly from the records app while on the go. Also functionality for text notifications would be great for busy production supervisors who rarely sit at their desks. Plus an app for the CAPA and Audit modules would also be beneficial.

Pros
It is fairly easy for operators to use and the best part is that all the modules we need are right there in one spot.
Cons
Not all modules are fully functional yet as some are still in development. But this is not a major issue.

Pros
It makes updating documents really simple as we don't need a separate log or register to keep track anymore.
Cons
The need to have separate plants that cannot pull into the main reporting features is a bit inconvenient. Since we are a multi-site operation it would be great to pull records from each farm and see which ones have not completed certain documents without having to access each plant.

Pros
As a food safety facility with USDA oversight is very important to have all our key documents stored electronically and managed by an admin who controls access. The good thing is that it keeps everything such as records, files and training materials in one safe, organized place which makes our life a whole lot easier.
Cons
Having to update the version number every time a document changes can get pretty tedious. As sometimes I just want to review it without making changes so a simple reviewed on button would make things a lot easier.

The system is easy to pick up and learn. And with continued use it becomes more use friendly.
Cons
Some features seem to be missing to me. Also there are too many steps involved in creating forms and mass uploading can be tricky and time-consuming.

Cons
Customizing smart specs is not easy at all and it often leads to doing the same work over and over. Though the SFS support team is helpful when things get complicated but it would be great if we didn't have to rely on them every time we need to make changes.
