“Helps us manage worker safety activities effectively”
Pros
It was a strong fit for us because it puts a real emphasis on worker safety. Features like mobile check-ins soS alerts, monitoring and support for remote work make it practical for day-to-day use especially for teams operating in the field. End users and supervisors both responded well to the training and onboarding materials since they were simple to roll out which helped with adoption across the organization. On top of that, the Solus customer success team was responsive and usually resolved questions or issues quickly making the implementation process a positive one. The centralized visibility and reporting also gave us better oversight and helped us manage worker safety activities more effectively.
Cons
A few of our lone workers are based in very remote areas so they still need to carry a satellite communication device. That said, newer iPhones are starting to include built-in satellite capability which could remove the need for a separate device down the line.

“Good value for money”
Pros
This tool has helped our officers feel safer and the pricing is reasonable. It's also simple to use which has made it a good fit for us. We've really liked using it. Whenever issues have come up, the support team has been very helpful and when we first rolled it out, they trained our department so everyone could feel comfortable using the program.
Cons
Our biggest problem has been that panic alerts don't make any sound if the phone is set to silent. We've also run into trouble getting the satellite extenders to work the way they should.

“Reliable safety tools for staff”
Pros
Using the phone app together with the wearable panic button has added an extra layer of safety for our staff who work with youth out in the community. Everything is simple to use and we really value the customizable options for adding risk levels. The pricing feels reasonable and the support team has been excellent both during setup and with ongoing help.
Cons
The only downside was having to wait a few additional weeks for a firmware update so the SOS/panic button notifications would work properly.
