Pros

Managing emissions through this platform has been very simple. I especially appreciate how it visualizes emissions across different dimensions such as business unit, scope and other categories. The simulation module for emission reduction projects is also very useful. On top of that, their team is clearly committed to improving the platform and making it more user-friendly and their support has been very helpful whenever questions come up.

After the platform update in the second half of 2025, the issues that previously existed were addressed so at this point I don't really have any negative feedback about the platform.

It stands out because it is purpose-built for agricultural production and supply chains. Compared with other platforms, it shows a much deeper understanding of the industry and that makes a real difference when it comes to meeting our specific needs.

Cons

The decarbonization module is quite capable and offers solid functionality but the usability and overall user experience still have room for improvement. That said, I understand Terrascope is already working on this.

Support team has been really helpful, the platform is laid out well and the uploading methods are simple to use.

It can be a little glitchy at times some features still in development are taking longer than expected and the PCF function could use more features.

Using it has been a really positive experience because the platform is simple to navigate which makes handling scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions much more manageable. Having everything gathered in one centralized place is especially useful in my day-to-day work since all the tools I need are available on the same platform. That setup simplifies the whole process and gives me a clear, efficient view of my emissions impact, making it easier to spot where improvements can be made. The initial setup was also well done so getting started with Terrascope felt simple and hassle-free.

I would change the way data has to be uploaded online instead of being imported directly from Excel. It would be much better if users had the option to upload their data straight into the platform from Excel.

Having the audit trail feature built in makes a big difference. If this had to be handled manually, it would be extremely challenging and would take a lot of time to complete.

The user interface still has room for improvement and the current filtering tools make it difficult to pull up specific data.

Getting our first report ready took quite a while. The follow-up action plan to support reducing greenhouse gas emissions also needs improvement.
