“Pricey but offers a lot of choices

Pros

I've been with Velocity for just over 20 years and it's been amazing to see how much they've grown. They offer such a huge platform with a lot of services which really helps us out.

Cons

It has grown so much but honestly, I feel like they've lost that personal, customer-focused touch. Plus, the pricing has started to feel like it's not worth the value and benefit of the platform anymore.

Pros

I've been using their chemical SDS management solution for online SDS management and it makes everything so much easier.

Cons

Honestly, there's nothing bad I can say. Everything's easy to access.

“Managing waste effectively

Pros

It's very easy to use when performing risk analysis, identifying hazards and setting up prevention measures. It helps me stay compliant, avoid fines and keeps track of our environmental performance at each clinic.

Cons

We had a few issues with the reporting at first but the support team was quick to respond and helped us out with everything.

Pros

The process flow in the program was really easy to follow and interactive. It was smooth from start to finish.

Cons

The administrators couldn't make changes to the list data which caused extra costs and wasted time waiting for the vendor to make those changes.

“Benefits of chemical management

Pros

In many workplaces, chemical management can get overlooked. It's a time-consuming task that takes up a lot of man hours and sometimes it doesn't even seem worth it. But after the initial setup, having Velocity manage the chemicals has been way more efficient and cost-effective.

Cons

NO CONS. I love how easy it is to use, the accessibility to information and the reasonable pricing.

It is so easy to use and functional, plus I love having 24/7 access online. It really gives me peace of mind.

Cons

We've been having trouble refreshing our system. I've talked to a few customer service reps but it still isn't working.

“Using VelocityEHS Humantech for ergonomics

Pros

There are two things I really love about VelocityEHS, (1) their software and capabilities especially their Humantech (Ergonomics) program, and (2) their amazing team. The staff members are experts in their field and always ready to help out and support our program.

Cons

After thinking it through, I really can't think of any features or support from VelocityEHS that I'd want to change or fix.

“How easy Velocity is to use

Pros

The platform is really smooth and attractive and honestly, Velocity's services are top-notch. I wouldn't want to use anything else.

The pressure from the Sales and Marketing team is pretty intense and a bit overwhelming.

“Very flexible software

Pros

Managing MSDS/SDS is critical for our department. We have 22 correctional facilities, plus headquarters and parole. Everyone has access to the Department's eBinder and it's really helped us stay on top of our MSDS/SDS and chemical control by knowing exactly what chemicals are approved for use.

Cons

Reports used to be a lot easier to work with. They could be exported as .pdf or .rtf which were already formatted for printing. Now with Excel exports, we have to spend a lot of time editing the reports to get everything to fit on a printable page. It would be great if the reports could be formatted for printing in an 8 1/2 or 11x14 size.

Their suggestions and record-keeping support have been incredibly helpful.

Some options are difficult to understand for those with little experience.
