“we've stopped using spreadsheets completely!
Pros
We have stopped using spreadsheets completely as Aeqium helps us run compensation reviews much faster, makes it easier to get input from more managers and keeps the approval process simple and clear.
Cons
Occasionally we had to adjust some formulas to align the system with our compensation model but the support team was extremely responsive and worked with us to implement those changes.

“Tool grows with responsive support
Pros
Over the past year, I have really enjoyed watching the tool grow and improve. What stands out most is how responsive the support team is as they actually listen and act quickly on the product changes we've discussed. I also like how salary ranges are displayed and how easy it is to see where each person falls within a range. That makes team reviews and compensation cycles much simpler. I have spent most of my time in the My Comp/Total Rewards area and I find it useful that employees can choose the plans they use. I also like that we can show compensation as total value or as a percentage of OTE or base pay.
Cons
One downside is that the product still feels like it's a work in progress as there are a few rough spots. For example the Benefits section is too inflexible. We cannot create our own benefit categories or add links in a flexible way which makes that part feel limited. Also it would be helpful to have an other or time off option or more custom categories. Setup can also be tricky because everything is based on location. I'd like more rule-based filters for instance, being able to hide certain benefits from temporary staff while showing them to full-time employees.

“Easy use with plenty customization
Pros
Aeqium is easy to use which helps keep compensation cycles running smoothly and efficiently. Also the platform is simple to learn and offers plenty of customization, so companies can adapt and integrate it as needed.
Cons
I'm still waiting for the budgeting functionality to be completed, at times the exports don't preserve the same formats or the exact numbers I entered and that inconsistency makes auditing a bit more difficult than it should be.

“Free tier organizes salary bands
Pros
I really like that the free tier lets companies start organizing salary bands and move away from messy spreadsheets. Alao you can upload your existing pay framework and easily control who sees which salary bands. From there, you can add modules for things like annual reviews, merit increases, pay equity analysis and more.
Cons
Although I like that there are so many modules available, the sheer number can feel a bit much at times. Also a few features like the offer letter generator are likely redundant because other systems such as our ATS already handle them, so those parts don't end up being used as often.

“tailored cycles with five-star support
Pros
Overall, I had a fantastic experience using Aeqium. Being able to tailor our compensation review cycle to our needs was a huge advantage. We could import and add the exact fields our leaders wanted which made the whole setup much more relevant. Managers and reviewers appreciated the simple access and that ease kept the process smooth and even enjoyable for everyone involved. As an admin, the standout for me was the support as any question or issue I raised was resolved within 24 hours and their help felt five-star every single time.
Cons
Whenever we shared feedback, it was either put into practice right away or already placed on their roadmap for future implementation.

“Incredible experience
Pros
Working with Peter and the Aeqium team was an incredible experience. In just a few months, we moved our review process from Google Sheets to Aeqium. They took the time to understand our business needs and that really showed. Getting managers logged in and using the tool was very smooth, thanks to the user friendly interface. Customizations were easy too and we could tweak the platform to match our unique processes. The support has been outstanding as they understood our workflows and helped with any issues. Their customer service feels unmatched as every question was answered the same day. One leader even said, it is so efficient and it does exactly what we need!
Cons
I have been actively giving feedback and I am really happy with how fast features and improvements are rolled out. Anything we were not satisfied with has either been fixed already or is planned for the future which gives me confidence that things will keep getting better.

“Clear layout saves HR time
Pros
It is really easy to use and helpful for managers, admins,and employees, all thanks to the clear layout and easy access to information. As managers can quickly find what they need and our HR team now spends much less time answering compensation questions. I also really appreciate how fast the Aeqium team responds whenever I have questions.
Cons
Because it is still a relatively new product, I notice there are a few areas and features that could use refreshing or enhancement. That said, the team takes feedback seriously and I find they push updates often, so any issues are usually short-lived.
