“Corporate currency helps global teams
Pros
Being able to switch to our corporate currency makes things much easier and helps our global teams handle compensation tasks more efficiently.
Cons
Some screens are not very user-friendly and I often can't tell what to do next. For example when generating letters for groups of employees, it's not clear how to move forward.

“Quick integration without IT burden
Pros
We got the product integrated quickly and with minimal hassle. Also it is very user-friendly. Plus the tool's flexibility to implement immediate changes without heavy IT involvement or hiring outside consultants lets our company redirect IT resources toward other areas of the business.
Cons
I recognize that every tool can be improved and this one is no exception. When the SSO option isn't enabled, our planners sometimes struggle to sign in which is annoying. While I like SSO as a key security measure, it can still lead to frustration.

“Hands-on training with instant adjustments
Pros
When I started using CompAccelerator, they provided hands-on training and personally guided me through the initial setup. Also I found it highly configurable means we could tailor it to our company's compensation planning needs. Managing the process was easy too as planner updates rolled up smoothly and clearly showed their budget impact. I could even add comments or adjust numbers instantly and creating compensation statements was quick and easy.
Cons
Over the past two years, I have watched the software improve steadily. As the team keeps adding new features and truly listens to customer feedback so the product has gotten much better over time.

Pros
Now, managers can easily submit their own information without needing help.
Cons
As an admin, I run into configuration and usability bugs, plus there are tasks I cannot complete on my own as I have to contact support to get them done.

“Easy setup eliminates manual tasks
Pros
As both an administrator and an end user, I've found it really easy to set up and navigate. I also like being able to customize settings myself and upload files whenever necessary, so I am not dependent on anyone else to get things done. Since adopting it we've eliminated a number of manual tasks which has boosted our efficiency significantly and helped us run our programs much more quickly than before.
Cons
I wish there were more custom fields so I could capture more specific information. I also want more detailed user roles. For example the ability to restrict access by country or region. It would also be great to have a setting that prevents HR users from seeing data that belongs to other teams or locations.

Overall I find it easy to navigate as a user.
Cons
From my admin perspective, I personally find much of the backend setup unnecessarily complex and generally not very user-friendly.

This product is quite powerful and it's really easy to use at the same time.
Cons
We have hardly had anything to complain about. As whenever we needed adjustments to the product's features or layout for our particular workflows, they handled those requests on their end without any trouble.

The sandbox environment is great as it lets me customize, test and fine-tune everything before going live.
Cons
Setting up any new system takes time and learning but the team guides me through it and is always there when I need help.

“Most flexible mid-cycle changes possible
Pros
This is the most flexible compensation planning system I have ever used. As I can make changes mid-cycle and I do not need to spend months preparing the system for the annual review.
Cons
I'd like it to integrate directly with our HRIS for setup and final approvals. As of right now, I have to create external Excel files which seems unmanageable.

“Excel-like without the questions
Pros
For our leadership team, the platform was very easy to get started with during annual compensation planning. In all my years launching new systems, this was the first time I did not get a single question about how it worked. It behaves a lot like Excel which makes adoption painless but it also adds security and streamlines the process which makes everything much easier. That's a clear win in my book.
Cons
Honestly nothing significant pops into my head that I would call an issue or drawback.

“Highly configurable with outstanding support
Pros
This tool is highly configurable and easy to roll out. The customer support team is also outstanding and genuinely simplifies my work.
Cons
At the time I was using it, there were not any integrations with other HRIS or payroll platforms. That meant I had to manually import and export data from the system which was difficult. I also felt the tool may struggle to scale up for a larger company's needs.

“Amazing range of unique features
Pros
I was amazed by how highly configurable it is. And I couldn't believe the range of unique compensation-plan features it could handle for our team.
Cons
There are a few rough spots in how the system generates letters as it takes too many clicks to get what you need. Also the default file names for the letters are a bit awkward and inconsistent. I really believe these are simple fixes that could roll out pretty easily, if they have not already.

“Recreated Excel workflows exactly
Pros
It let us recreate our old Excel-based workflow exactly inside the app including the custom formulas and layouts we relied on. That capability truly transformed how we work, since we could not find another solution with that level of customization.
Cons
We'd really like a dashboard that shows progress and key compensation planning metrics. As it would make it much easier for our team to track and analyze performance.

Pros
From day one the personalized customer support impressed me. I genuinely felt they held my hand through implementation and didn't let go. Also the platform can be customized to match our specific processes and our managers find it easy to use. I also like that they listen to suggestions for improvements and when I propose improvements, they often appear in later versions.
Cons
I'd like to be able to customize employee compensation sheets myself even though their turnaround time for edits is very quick. On the bright side, they rebuilt our comp statements to match what employees were used to seeing which was a big plus.

“Adaptable for any bonus program
Pros
I was very impressed by how adaptable this product is. No matter what unique needs we had for our bonus programs, we always found a way to make it work in the tool. And over the years, the customer support has been consistently exceptional.
Cons
Honestly I can't point to anything I disliked about this software. As there wasn't a single feature or behavior that bothered me.
