Pros
One of the biggest benefits is that there's no need to keep the same data stored separately in both a data warehouse and a data lake. That's a major challenge for large organizations today especially those that have already invested heavily in Hadoop or other distributed storage platforms.
Cons
Since the technology is still in an early stage online support is limited for a lot of issues. The available help articles are useful but when you're implementing a system of this scale across an enterprise, much broader and more extensive support is really necessary.
