smart time tracking boost

Pros

Friday time entry is a lot less painful with this platform because the zero time feature does most of the work for me. As a developer I really dislike logging hours manually so having it suggest time based on activity from tools like Jira, Slack and Zoom is a huge plus. It takes a tedious task and makes it mostly automatic. I also really value the modular setup since we can handle client work through TimeBill while keeping internal time off management in the same dashboard. On top of that the mobile app is better than expected and feels modern which is rare for enterprise software.

Cons

There is definitely some initial difficulty with the reporting engine especially for someone new to it. It is powerful but building custom templates does not feel very accessible in the beginning because the menus go pretty deep. I have also seen the AI suggestions need manual fixes from time to time particularly when I am jumping quickly between several small tickets since it can have trouble classifying tiny tasks correctly. One other concern is that now it is part of the Deltek ecosystem and I hope the interface stays clean and does not end up looking cluttered like some older ERP platforms.

Clear visibility

Pros

Really stands out for its accurate and flexible time tracking. Team members can log hours against specific projects and tasks without much trouble and the approval workflows help get timesheets reviewed promptly. The visibility into project hours and labor costs is also very useful for planning and billing. Overall it keeps time tracking organized and cuts down on manual mistakes.

Cons

Getting used to the interface can take a little time at first and some of the reporting features could be more user friendly.
