Right away the software made it much easier for us to handle the entire policy lifecycle within SharePoint from publishing new versions to monitoring acknowledgments. We can assign policies to the right teams, add deadlines and rely on automated reminders which has cut down a lot of the manual follow up and coordination. The reporting dashboard also gives us clear, useful visibility during audits and internal compliance reviews.
Cons
Getting everything set up at the beginning does take some planning especially when matching it to existing SharePoint libraries and workflows. A few of the reporting views also require some time to figure out, particularly for new administrators who are still getting familiar with the system.

Publishing research protocols, data handling procedures and internal policies straight into SharePoint has worked really well for our team. We can assign each document to the right groups and the automated reminders plus acknowledgment tracking have cut down a lot on manual follow up. The testing feature is also very useful because it helps verify that staff actually understand important communications!
Cons
At the beginning some team members needed a bit of help getting used to the acknowledgment and testing tools. Setting up groups for specific projects also took a little time.
