“Strikes perfect balance”
Pros
Between how simple it is to use and the wide selection available, this has become an app I use every week. The search tools work really well and the sound quality is excellent.
Cons
The only downside is the daily borrowing limit my library system has to enforce because of the cost which makes it harder to use the service as often as I'd want.

“Tidy interface”
Pros
The interface felt really clean and it was simple to click through and get to exactly where I needed to go. It includes everything you need.
Cons
Honestly, I didn't have any complaints. It was an excellent software to use and I only wish the companies I worked for afterward had been able to put it in place too.

“Amazing service”
Pros
Access through my local library has been fantastic. I've really enjoyed the wide range of books and movies available and overall it feels like a wonderful service.
Cons
The movie selection is somewhat limited but considering what they do provide, it's honestly not much of a complaint.

“Convenient appointment scheduling”
Pros
Adding appointments is really convenient, especially since I can pull them in from a variety of different places.
Cons
When I tried signing in from another device, I ran into a limit error both times, on two separate days.

“Solid option for borrowing books”
Pros
Every month, I use it to borrow books and movies and it's been a really solid option for that. The software works well for checking out both and it's something I keep coming back to regularly.
Cons
There's a monthly limit on how many items you can borrow. I really wish that part were different because I'd definitely use it more often if the limit were higher.

“Offers music and movies”
Pros
Using it through the Indianapolis Public Library has been such a win. It offers music and movies too but I mostly rely on it for reading graphic novels. It's honestly one of the best options for enjoying graphic novels on a tablet without having to pay for a monthly subscription.
Cons
The only thing I'd really want added is support for my Roku smart TV so I could watch movies there. That would make me use the platform even more.

“Awesome tool for accessing content”
Pros
It is a really solid platform when it comes to accessing content.
Cons
It's not the strongest option for creating content since it's geared more toward consuming than producing.

“Library access with tons of media”
Pros
Having my local library available right inside the Hoopla app is seriously fantastic. With a library card, I can jump into ebooks, audiobooks, music and movies all in one place which makes the app incredibly useful.
Cons
Ability to highlight passages in borrowed Hoopla books is missing, even though that would be really helpful. There's also no option to copy, paste or share text from the books.

“Sales energy boost”
Pros
Ever since we started using it, our sales team has been noticeably more engaged. One thing I really enjoy is how reps can call each other out directly and turn it into a fun competition. It really fuels that competitive spirit across the team and the music, pictures and gifs make everything more entertaining. Since we rolled it out, I've seen people become much more motivated about setting goals and trying to outperform each other. It's especially fun when someone closes a deal and their chosen song plays while their face shows up on every TV in the company.
Cons
I honestly don't have any real complaints about it. It works really well for a larger sales team though I could see it being less impactful for a smaller group.

“Simple setup”
Pros
Getting started with it was pretty simple, especially since it can pull data from a Google Sheet or Excel file. Adding users didn't take much effort and the training process was simple to follow.
Cons
At times, it just wouldn't update and unless it's connected to a CRM, the data isn't truly live. It would also freeze now and then. On top of that, it felt quite expensive compared to the competitor we eventually switched to which offered a lot more functionality.
