“Structured employee relations and reports
Pros
It provides much needed structure to the employee relations and investigations processes. I can capture information and documentation easily to find location for reference later. It creates very professional investigation reports.
Cons
It can be tough getting user acceptance, especially if there wasn't a defined process for investigations before using this tool. We had to create an implementation and training plan to address this.

“guided process for all investigators
Pros
This tool is of benefit to both the HR professional who is relatively new to conducting investigations as well as the seasoned investigator. For the less experienced investigator, I appreciate the process guidance. As a seasoned investigator, I value the orderly flow that forces me to slow down and document each step of the process well. The result after the investigation is a detailed case report. I highly recommend this system to anyone who conducts even ONE investigation a year.
Cons
The system may slow me down a bit initially, particularly before I build templates for different types of investigations. While the extra time can result in high quality documentation, I need to be prepared for the adjustment.
