Ingentis is a really useful tool as it lets us pull detailed, accurate reports for our organizational charts and it offers great value for the price. Overall it is simple to use and helps us create accurate reports for our diagrams. Since we use flowcharts regularly in our work, this tool makes the process much simpler.

With Ingentis org.manager, I can test out different org structures and see exactly how changes would play out. It takes the guesswork out of strategic planning and makes HR and organizational development much more precise.

It does not always integrate well with other HR solutions we use which sometimes means we have to manually adjust or sync data. This adds extra time and effort especially during strategic planning.

There is not much I dislike and if anything, I'd say there could be more options for self-configuration.

While it is really useful, the PowerPoint print template is not as flexible as I'd like. Still it is a handy feature and the benefits of the tool outweigh this small limitation.

The product is very user-friendly. We were able to customize the graphical settings for org charts to fit our needs exactly. You can also access the organizational structure through the web app or directly in SAP HCM which we see as a big bonus.

I really like how quickly I can get a clear overview of the SAP personnel master data through the chart feature. The response time is very fast and the presentation is really simple, making it easy for me to find the info I need.

The download function really needs some improvement especially for people like me who rely on Excel. It would be so much easier if I could select specific data sets before downloading instead of having to pull everything this way being able to check the data directly in Excel would save so much time, especially in departments like controlling. Right now, I have to go through all the charts manually which becomes a huge pain in bigger companies, particularly when checking master data changes during reorganizations. HR often presents preliminary updates that need review, so it just makes everything more difficult.

There are so many presentation features and they're surprisingly easy to use. People really enjoy using this tool and the support team is fantastic, they really know their stuff.

Cons

It's impossible to work on the same configuration at the same time which can get frustrating when I'm collaborating with others. The chart options are kind of limited and could definitely use some improvements to make data visualization better.

I've been using it as a system administrator for about ten years now and what stands out to me is its flexibility. We've never had a situation where support said something couldn't be done, honestly sometimes I wish I could tell my creative colleagues that their wild ideas aren't possible but that's just not true! My team members love how easy it is to get a clear overview.

Cons

The flexibility is great but it does make administration a bit complex sometimes. You can't always figure everything out by intuition and some things need extra help to implement. That said, the support team is really quick and reliable whenever I get stuck with something too tricky. The complexity is mostly an issue for admins though, regular users find it very easy.

The interface is very friendly. I can go through everything with no problems. I love how sleek and polished everything looks and the clean layout makes it easy to find whatever I need. Updates happen instantly too which saves me a lot of time.

Database connections can be tricky and you really need to make sure your data rules are set up properly or things can get messy.

Pros

I love how this tool creates interactive org charts and cool visuals like sunbursts and dashboards right from our SAP HCM data. Being able to pull in extra business info from other sources makes everything even better. The customization options are amazing. I can adjust the design with CSS or use the built in features, plus set up rules to show or hide info based on what users need. Sharing is easy too whether I want to email it, download a CSV, or a PDF. The simulation feature for org management scenarios is also really handy and includes all the same awesome visualization capabilities.

Cons

Finding historical data can be a pain because the system expects specific effective dates for extraction. It would be great if pulling whole time periods for retroactive analysis was more simple.
