Pros
The platform is really simple to use and has the best UX/UI I've seen for a job board.
Cons
Moving over from our old SmartJobBoard site to the new one was a bit challenging because of all the custom customizations on the previous setup but customer support and Olivier stepped in quickly and made sure everything ended up running perfectly.

Pros
It gives us a lot of flexibility when it comes to customization and the talent pool feature along with job alert management has been very useful. More than anything, the technical support has been outstanding especially with the speed and quality of help during integration setup.
Cons
A few parts of the documentation could be more detailed but aside from that it's still early in our rollout so we're just getting started with the platform.

Pros
Getting started with Niceboard was quick and the interface has a really clean look. It includes all the features needed to launch and run a job board without feeling like anything important is missing.
Cons
Zapier automation was a bit confusing to work through but the help desk responded in a reasonable amount of time and was helpful when needed.

“flexible setup and fantastic support”
Pros
It's highly customizable too and just about every piece of text across the job board can be edited to better match your needs or local market. Our plan includes API access and that has been working really well for us so we've been relying on it more and more. The biggest advantage I've seen though, is the customer support. Responses are consistently fast, the team is genuinely helpful and they've been very accommodating with my questions which have mostly been around feature requests since we really haven't run into many bugs.
Cons
We did explore the Niceboard-Zapier integration at first but it didn't offer the same level of functionality as the API. Because of that, we ended up moving over to the API instead which meant assigning a couple of additional developers to the project. I'd definitely like to see the Zapier integration expanded over time. The fields in the apply form are somewhat customizable but a few of them can only be hidden with custom CSS. It would be much better to have simple toggles for those fields so you can decide whether they appear or not although I expect that kind of improvement will probably come later on.

Pros
Right away the flexibility in the design options stood out. The back-end setup is simple and it's just as simple for clients and applicants to use. It works really well for launching quickly and the Zapier integration makes it much easier to build better downstream workflows and more tailored user experiences. Managing custom domains is also refreshingly simple. On top of that the pricing feels very fair considering how many features are included.
Cons
There are still a few very small features missing but it doesn't feel like a major issue because the roadmap looks promising and the development team is incredibly responsive when it comes to feature requests.

Pros
Getting my job board up and running with Niceboard was very simple and managing it has been just as simple. The customization options feel well balanced and the overall design comes across as modern and professional. I'm actually in the middle of moving my second job board over to Niceboard as well. Their product and technical support team has also been responsive and genuinely helpful whenever needed.
Cons
One area that still feels behind is the candidate database and talent pool functionality compared with the jobs side of the platform. That part matters a lot for my website so I'm really hoping they continue adding more features there.

There's a lot of flexibility in the backend especially with how many features and capabilities can be turned on or off with simple toggles. I also really appreciated the XML import option for bringing in jobs from Sourcestack. Another big plus is that backfill jobs are set up and ready to use right from the start.
Cons
No major issues with the software. The only thing I'd still like to see is some improvement to the overall look and feel of the home page.

Having this tool at work has been really helpful because its many features make the selection process faster and more professional. It keeps all the information together in one system which makes everything much clearer and always within reach when needed.
Cons
Only issue I've run into while using it is with the monthly payment process. The system takes too long to handle the payment and can be a little confusing so it usually takes some patience and extra time to complete it properly.

Setting up Niceboard took just a single afternoon and I was able to keep polishing things over the next few days without any hassle. That made it much easier to stay focused on our core service and the community we serve instead of getting stuck in technical setup. The final result looks polished and professional and the built-in blog plus the private board API have been absolutely essential for us.
Cons
I do wish the private board API were available in the Essential plan or at least the Pro plan. Even so, the Business plan still feels worth the price when you look at the potential return. On a smaller note, the Niceboard Zapier app did not work right away which meant spending extra time on integrations though I expect that will improve over time. I'd also love to see a few additional features added down the line, like blog comments, including blog posts in newsletters and richer job post metadata such as sections, salary details, time zones, tags and similar fields.

After about a month of using Niceboard to launch a job board I still haven't run into a feature I needed that I couldn't add, even though it's a SaaS platform. The support team is very responsive and has gone out of their way to help me fully customize the board and sort out any issues that came up. Pricing feels like a real bargain too since once your board gets some traction, just two or three paid posts can easily cover the cost of the software.
Cons
The custom code block is on the small side so it can be a little difficult to read what's been added there. A few parts of the customization process are also somewhat challenging but everything I've wanted to do has still been possible.
